First, thanks for all the amazing content you have created. It really helps a non professional. Second, Could you please make videos on the application of the function generator also?
I have one, and I can do the "usual" stuff as create a RC filter and then watch the result. However I would like to see in-depth usage/application of it. How can it be used in creating/constructing/debugging circuits?
Eg. Sweep, trigger in/out. I'm really insecure on how I may connect it to circuits and my scope

Good information. I'm astonished that no one has commented on this and at the lack of views. Kudos. I've been doing this (electronics and physics) as long a you and I was able to see the value in your presentation. Factual, to the point and engaging.
Perhaps the thing lost is attention span. I imagine 100 years from now all humans will know is how to apply makeup and denigrate air-head celebrities. I truly hope we are not the last generation of rational tinkers but all indications are that we are.

Well, most of us commented - very favorably - when this video was first aired on the 'original' channel called RSD-Academy.
Unfortunately YT somehow made this channel unavailable to us.
But I never the less follow Bob's new channel here because it's a very good repetition of all this very good content!
So watch this content here - it's first rate in both, content and educational value!

@@charlesschneiter5159 Yeah, I remember RSD academy. What ever happened to it?

@@uni-byte That's best left for Bob to answer. From what I gathered is, that TH-cam did somehow block his old channel. So he is now re-publishing all these valuable videos under this new channel.

Glad to see you back, Bob. So GND is really only used so as to get a zero-center, is that right?

I have an old tektronics 453. My input ground is grounded. Is this normal? It seems like it should be able to isolate it.
