I just wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed this series. I'm not a pilot, I haven't even ridden in a general aviation craft, but someday I hope to pursue a PPL and get involved with experimental aircraft. Your videos are always fascinating and informative. I hope you keep making them. Thanks for the work you put in.

Hi, thank you for the kind words. You are going to love flying G/A airplanes and I wish you good luck with your PP flight lessons. Try to find a good EAA chapter in your area and get involved. You are going to love it. Thanks for watching the videos and I am happy you find value in them. I wish you bluebird days and tailwinds my friend.

Thank you for this very informative and motivating series on building. I have wanted to build a plans built airplane but something always comes first in life. I really appreciate your talk on just getting started. I have always added up the total cost and it has stopped me from ever starting. When you break it down into manageable size goals you can achieve your ultimate goal someday. Wish I would have seen your video back when I was younger as I would already have a complete project by now. I am super motivated to get started because of you and your videos so thank you very much!

My moto is "Freedom is better than need 'em." Not an original moto but one I've whole heartedly adopted. After my divorce in my late 20's I never went back to that BS and by all indications its only gotten worse out there. I build what I want, when I want, and spend as much as I have available if I want.

Do you have any videos about making wooden leading edges? One day in the not so distant future, I want to rebuild and recover my baby lakes, and want to replace the aluminum with wooden leading edges.

Hi, to date I have no video on plywood leading edges but hope to post one in the not so distant future. Plywood leading edges are a smart choice and will add a great amount of strength to a wing. We sort of pioneered ply leading edges on Pitts Specials back in the 1980's and now they are the standard norm for a Pitts. They are easy to do if you follow a few basic rules and the pay off is well worth the effort. The wing building series of videos is in the planning stage and ply leading edges will be part of the series. Thanks for watching my friend.
