I have recommended this channel to ever web designer I know. I sincerely hope you get way more subscribers than you currently have. Amazing work brother. God bless you.
*Possible Solution* The JQuery link probably the cause of all this as it continuously gave me the message that “$” (the dollar sign is not defined). So for anyone who is having the same problem at the *“VIEW PROFILE”* Stage, This should fix the problem. Do not use this link
just replace the "position: absolute" to "position: relative" from the profile class and then this rule "display: inline-block" to display each card in horizontal order :) #Joseph Smith
How would you add multiple profiles to the same page? I understand the relative and inline-block, but when I click Show Profile, the profile shows on all the cards. Is there a way to have the profile only show for the card that I click on?
I found this a really cool exercise but the JQuery bit is being so frustrating how did you make this bit work at 17:45 $(document).ready(function(){ $('.view').click(function(){ $('.details').addClass('active') }) }) But at around 16:10 you demonstrate placing 'active' with the above JS then remove it ..?...why? ... then continue on with the 'close' function and it all still works..how..? I followed everything to a T throughout the whole lesson and couldn't figure out where the fuck I went wrong the owner of this account most likely won't bother to reply but if anyone else comes across this lesson and runs up against the same problem please I'd appreciate your feedback, thanks.
