It wants to stay in the sky as much as World's Kushala did. Thanks to this guy, I've become a Switch Axe main and got really damn good with it.
@@MadameBaked It's crazy how some monsters are easy for some people, while really hard for others even with different weapons. Shaggy feels more predictable for me, compared to Valstrax.
my first online experience with this hunt is when he had the beams on the ground hit us into a guarantee stun into his nuke causing an instant quest fail
My first encounter with this guy was after a long time of not fighting the magalas, he wrecked my face several times in a row before we Risen'd up. His head may be very squishy but it took some time to learn most of the right times to Strongarm him.
fun fact you can basically ignore 90% of what he does by going for hind legs and tail, barely has any moves that make him spin around or hit everything around him

I guarantee you this guy was planned to be TU4 and Risen Strax was gonna be TU5, but they didn't want to do 2 Magalas in a row. Since Strax is WAY harder.
I know it didn't happen (with all of the risen) because they overcame the Affliction, meaning they're no longer able to be infected, but if they were like mini-Malzeno level threats, with bloodblight, and in Shagarus case, Frenzy, wouldn't it be a living hell if you not only naturally heal out, but couldn't heal efficiently without being killed by it? That's how I think of it. A Frenzy/Affliction mix sounds like a nightmare. Bloodfrenzy? Eh...? Idk. But anyway, nice gameplay once again! You killed that boi quickly!
3:48 dude, Dragon Convertion became so weird to use against this guy and Amatsu, like, they hit so f*cking hard with their projectiles do to the whole 0 Resistances thing, even with the full HP from the Prism Bird, lol. Kinda scared if that issue will also reflect in Lvl 300 Anomaly quests.
Dragon conversion is a godsend. Hits harder for elemental CB and his hitzones are so much better than the normal one. Idk, might grind some talismans tonight then grind Anomalies later. Editing both of those videos takes a lot of time so progress is hindered :/ But I'll sacrifice that for y'all entertainment

@@MadameBaked Maybe lance and ls. It's seem that all latest update monster made for sunbreak counter base combat. It's a double edge sword. while make hunter that main weapon that have really good counter move have good experience, for hunter that main weapon that have really bad counter move however find the fight frustrating.

no one uses blue scroll and stay in it. you can tank all their ultimate attacks.... IF you just stay in blue. :p learning is great.
