Yes, this song is from Guangdong. The guzheng is tuned in standard D major pentatonic scale in the order of D E F# A B.

It's on the easy side of all instruments. Guzheng is easy and friendly to start with. Of course, it can go really advance and difficult.

I am an amateur musician mostly familiar with only Western music. I have heard the guzheng before, but usually only in film scores. Over the past few days, I have been watching many of your videos (and those of BeiBeizheng) and have absolutely fallen in love with the guzheng! I find your music beautiful and your talent amazing. I can't decide if I should close my eyes and imagine the calm lake or if I should watch you, working magic. anyways I could listen to you playing guzheng all day!
Mainly the sound quality and the making materials. The higher model sounds cleaner and more resonant. The travel size is smaller and convenient to take around The other ones are standard full size.

This is an absolutely beautiful piece. It's relaxing and yet somehow haunting at the same time. Even having not read the name, I would have been able to tell you it was a piece meant to invoke the night-time. Well-played, I've been looping it for a long time now, lol. Keep up the great work!

This piece is G pentatonic major (G A B C D E#) not typical D pentatonic major. So you need to tune all the 'mi-s' (usually the green strings) half-note higher on a D pentatonic major Guzheng.
