Thanks much, you clarified alot that I had assumed differently. also dug deep in to explaining the priority of the layering, wow. Now it'll take time to really analyze my walls (wraps/functions of layers). Do you have a deeper level on this indluding what happens in 3D especially when there is a foundation wall coming up into the upper wall joined to cut out everything but siding out of the upper wall?

Why is Revit nothing but workarounds and 20 step processes instead of one click solutions? Having used Archicad, Vectorworks and Revit for many years, I'm still amazed on how Revit is still decades behind the other two. And don't get me started on the stairs tool in Revit...

Hello, maybe you could help... How to make walls situated in this way: ][ (i.e. vertical walls are close together or are located side by side with no gap between them; horizontal walls are joined only with vertical walls and they make right angle - horizontal walls do not connect with each other) I have to have four seperate right angle connections. But Revit connects the horizontal walls...

Im kinda stuck... I have an exterior wall that goes into a corner and in that corner I want to add a interior wall but it automaticly goes into the exterior. Could it be because I added aerated concrete at the bottom? Please I need help :(

Is there a way to create a duplicate, then add an element like a wall to it without affecting other files? This seems to to be impossible.

We've requested this feature for the past 10 years or so.
I don't think Autodesk will ever add this feature.

wall joins is one of the things most stupid on Revit... So many automatisms to make the program less and less intuitive.I just can't do the wall junctions properly. The Revist doens t allow to do so! It's ridiculous
