Considering that Raducanu was struggling with forehand blisters from game 3 of the first set, she did really well to take set two with (almost exclusively) her forehand slice shot. Kovinic was wise to it in set 3, but that middle set was great fun to watch from Emma 👍

Another condensed match uploaded of this epic 2R of Raducanu and Kovinic..
Seems the demand is great for AO to do this.. on what factor? Danka's winning or Emma's grit and fighting spirit taking the second set despite playing in pain ☺️ hampering blisters in her forehand cost her to lost the match.. knowing she can't go any far in this tournament with one shot just slicing forehands. God bless you Emma praying you have a great 2022 season🙏🙏🏆🏆🏆🥰🥰

Emma, I don't know the marketing strategy, etc. However, you might want to stay highly ranked. It is unlikely you will win the US OPEN two years in a row this early in your career. To stay highly ranked you will have to have won other things before the US OPEN. Perhaps a high Wimbledon finish will help?? Also there a lot of other tournaments that you could gain experience in. You do learn from tournament play, even when you don't win. Then it is ultimately easier to win tournaments. If you want to someday challenge Serena's record of 23 major wins, you will have to have years with multiple major wins. That takes a lot of tournament toughness and experience. Best Wishes.

@@jgunner94 She signed an agreement with WTA/ITF and tournament organizers. She agreed to appear on press conferences and answer the questions (even if these answers might be 'yes', 'no' or 'I don't know'). What's worse she decided to skip her conference without asking organizers or WTA for help. That's what mature people do - talk about the problem first, behind closed doors. Instead she went straight to Tweeter.
