We've reached a point where players will probably clear clown and brel 1-3 before they even finish g2 vykas.😂
Giving free relic set with express event means that, yeah, people will most likely skip valtan and vykas and go straight to 1540 for Kayangel/Brel/Clown. The time where Valtan and Vykas were the main raids seems so long ago at this point.

@@Joe-fb9ns And who are you to tell pp how they should play games ? Maybe they enjoy doing horizontal content, fishing or doing argos in thiers 1600 ilvl chars. Maybe they dont wanna waste time for others and gatekeep them between gates like you :)
Im a new player and i didnt use powerpass i did valtan and really enjoyed it but had a nice team carry me. I died twice because of the orbs and wiped my team but eventually i finally understood we got it was fun but... I was very nervous i didnt want to mess up the orbs and kill the team. Really bad experience for the first raid, but when i understood became fun. My point being if there was way for new players to learn, and i dont agree that people need to teach you, the game should provide means to learn, example easy mode without wipe just to get used to the mechanics, thatd probably make new players and old experience much better.
solo option would be playable but right now, thanks.

I experience why there is gatekeeping all the time and it’s 100% justifiable. Dude joins a lobby looking sus af. I always accept them to ask questions. The people that are honest will say they’ve never cleared. That’s when I tell them “why did you join a PLC RECLEAR lobby. Then tell them that’s why there’s gatekeeping. They say “want me to leave” I’ll say I give you 2 pulls
THIS. IM TOTALLY DOWN TO TEACH HONEST PEOPLE!! Honesty is the best policy. As long as they can learn and don't greed; this will be a great benefit for the whole community. It's those entitled people with rainbow Engraving alts that think just because they have 1 alt that cleared, that they're entitled to get a free bus. On top of that, they're dead all gates and bid on everything at the end 🙃

@kohzor iLvl 1610, zero horizontal content trophies, maxed gems, lv. 8 stronghold and roster level 53 and doesn't talk at all when asked questions would be a hypothetical example. It's crazy to me that people swipe several hundreds for item level and gems but don't buy busses? I would figure that it's just easier to catch a bus than waste 2 hours wiping again and again. 🫣
@@kohzor everything omg said is true. Some other stuff is class, certain classes like zerker have a much higher rate of being a bought account than say an arcana or sharpshooter. Some people will put on high level tier 2 gems instead of t3s which is sus. Also having off meta engravings, especially if they replace grudge, can be a big red flag. Also since the recent patch a big one you'll probably see is server gatekeeping for the people from jump start servers. I've already seen on NAW lobby titles saying reclear no JS or reclear no Lauriel.
That’s when I with plc leave because I don’t want to clear trash for 5min/do 2 failed pulls on a reclear lobby/leave/replace/kill trash again and then clear.
Yeah nah sorry but if there is a plc lobby I expect everyone to have plc. If it’s a regular reclear lobby or prog then fine I don’t care and I’ll help out but plc is plc.

All they had to do to solve this problem is practice mode for all of the mechanic, then gave player titles for mastering them. Playing with rando is an absolute waste of time and effort. And the checkpoint system is more of a curse than a blessing because good luck finding another lobby without waiting hours.
I got jailed in Vykas G2 today in a party full of 1540-1600 veteran players because people don't know what to do when the group has high damage and you skip mechs. We came full circle
i mean thats the point of doing overgeared content in every game, it should be a quick in and out, so you can move on to the next content lol.
as a 1490(alt) 205 roster min level 5 gems still cant get into a raid a simple as hard valtan i qued up to multiple lobbies and gave up after an hour. I am a returning player come back and rushed a 1580 with these new express packs. but with gatekeeping at this lvl for all raids.
it will prob be short lived again unfortunately.
i still enjoy watching new players play Hard Valtan and Vykas
I just got back into lost ark haven’t played since the very beginning, watch a lot of peoples videos and I only enjoy watching your videos thanks for the content hopefully I will be good at this game one day lol

I was having fun in LA until Brel went out, then it was all a whole gatekeeping wait where i get accepted (support main btw) and i saw some decent dps with good gems and card but didn't get accepted because of the item level lmao... then i just drop the game when Kayangel got out because of the same reason... I don't regret it. I'd prefer keep my way on War Thunder and BDO until we get Riot's MMO (ofc i'll try throne and liberty and maybe POE 2)
EXACTLY why we gatekeep. Besides this video there's another one saying "I spent 3.8 MILLION GOLD for my +25 Weapon in Lost Ark" and this Vykas run gives 2.4k gold.

Tbh with the amount of practice they get from failing over and over again but still trying they're gonna be different beasts when it comes to clearing raids on Ilvl
And this is the main reason why Lost Ark can't boost its popularity and/or dying. I mean the jump start servers lost so much traffic they had to do a merger. If that isn't a bad sign then I don't know what is. People try to blame the developers for making mechanics too hard but they complain when it's not. Hard mechanics literally involves complete reset when you fail them. It's in every raid in every MMO. The fair ratio of blame should be 80/20 players to developers. Developers aren't forcing you to gatekeep but players do it either way. They now gatekeep mokoko tags they see on partyfinder. I know this because I was willing to add someone who had that tag and people started leaving! Even the ones on the queue started leaving especially the healers! The whole community is extremely toxic to the point that it doesn't even make sense to solely blame the developers for harsh mechanics.
The problem is that a vast majority of people feel entitled and want to get carried in raids. That's the problem. No experienced person would want to spend 2hrs in a hw raid run and have that one person who dies 20s into each gate bid on everything at the end. Yet that's the unfortunate reality. Even mokokos will gatekeep other mokokos. No one wants to waste time with people who just want free carries. My friends who did teaching runs for months ended up stopping because they clearly stated that the bare minimum is to watch any guide video and yet 3hrs into the first or 2nd gate, people still have no idea because they didn't watch or Google anything to do with raid. It sucks for the teacher and those who took the time to prep ahead of the teaching runs. It's just a huge part of the community that's ruining it. This is why a lot of new or returning players are adopting the habit of using lifestyle skills to sell for gold and use that to buy busses. They can play along during busses, ask drivers how to cheese mechs, and not have to worry about party finder simulator gatekeeping or getting jailed for several hours. It's quite clever and wish i did thought of this when i first started. Would've been a much more positive experience than dealing with pug lobbies 😂
your 1st two sentences alone tell me you're not that smart and you're not to be taken seriously. check lost ark stream charts rn and tell me its dying lol. your second sentence of "so much traffic so they had to do a merge." mfer they said in patch notes BEFORE jumpstart was even out the plan was to merge them in 3-4months
They always planned to merge the jump start servers though?
The merger was gonna happen regardless if it was successful or not. They literally said in the jump starter server announcement that they would be merged into the regular servers down the line.

You'd be surprised how many players with 1580+ characters fuck up in the earlier raids. They spend so much time in Akkan, Brel and Kayangel that, when they create a new character and go through Valtan and Vykas, they seem to have forgotten everything from these two raids.
Don't get baited by the edit. Clearly the artist looks away during the mech and the person beside is looking. They just didn't timestop...

@@BuffPomskyThe wild thing is how everyone streamer and player alike praises Valtan for having no wipe mechanics and being based on individual skill. I don't think we played the same Valtan during prog lol, the Valtan with a random counter procable my one person to wipe your whole team at the end of the raid, or the counter mech that was instant death or that one guy who counters and runs into your whole party.
All of these fights have team responsibility and wipe mechs, do I like em all. Hell no like Brel G5 shapes good fucking riddance. But idk why everyone glory days about Valtan so much.

@@snf721 official raid guides would be great and just add easy mode raid with no wipe mechs i guess. Wipe mechs are only annoying with pugs, when u play with voice comms or with a static its another level, and I enjoy the challenge more
as new player i start playing this game for 4 month now, i was thinking i can reach the other high lvl player but nahhhh , advice for new player dont play this game trust me and thx
