Waddup Biscuits! We got many more mod videos coming for the CBR! Comment below what you'd like to see first. Next up is a tricky one: cut fairing frame sliders.
Just installed the corsa on mine. Was tight trying to squeeze in the second row of rubber bits took the nuts off the mirrors and it was much easier. Thanks for the tutorial !
I have the service manual, they tell you to remove the mirrors, sucks because their wires and you have to unplug, I just let the mirrors hang by the wires, I know that’s a no, no, but it worked out alright, way easier, to change windscreen, with the mirrors off.
Looks pretty good! I actually kept the stock one one but used some tailight tinting film/vinyl and wrapped it! 10 bucks on ebay and had enough left over to do the wifes tailights! Good video! Subscribed!
Biscuit Benny i like the way the bubble looks for sure and i bet it does well to keep the wind off your face. Thats the only compliant i have is how much air smacks the top of my head even when im tucked as much as possible.
Is it not necessary to unscrew the mirrors so it would be easier to remove/install screen? I got the same bike but my first honda. My previous bikes were gixxers and I remember having to remove or loosen the mirrors.
@@BiscuitBenny Yes, the gixxers have turn signals in the mirrors. I just got my puig windscreen for the CBR1000RR and will probably install them this weekend.
FYI - unbolt the mirrors as well to remove/install your aftermarket windscreen. It will save you a lot of time. I installed mine and found out this process makes the installation a lot smoother. Safe riding fellow riders!
Your Zero Gravity wind screen, I see is Dark Smoke, is their much Visibility, or pretty much black out? I have a puig dark smoke on my gsxr, but that looks darker.
@cmattos1760 Did your Puig windscreen only have 4 holes where you reinsert the grommets from the OEM windscreen. I noticed his zero gravity and OEM are identical but the Puig I got only has the top 4...
@@cmattos1760 thanks...it got me worried when I inspected the Puig after watching this video and noticed the difference. I will install this weekend. I might have to loosen the bolts of the mirrors so it's easier to remove/install. I did that to my gixxers and someone from a honda forum suggested to remove the bolts from the mirrors for easier installation. Did you?
triVertex I didn’t feel the need but it may make things slightly easier to remove. All in all it wasn’t hard to remove and install. Just takes some finesse.

Great video, even thought I don't have a motor bike it's still nice to watch in this time of boredom.
Would you do quick shifter next ?

Yessir a few people have mentioned that taking the mirrors off is easier - good recommendation! Congrats on the new windshield!

@@CorvetteLS7427I just did my windscreen and only loosened the mirrors without taking them off. Seemed to work quite well.

Good idea! I swapped mine because I wasn’t a fan of the shape but it’s a personal decision!

Top 1 looks really good on ya bike Biscuit 😃🏍️💜 north of England Uk
Thank you. Very useful👍
I want to see how to install a quick shifter on one of these..

Yeah, you don't need to remove the mirrors, which is really nice. Did your GSXRs have turn signals in the mirrors, by chance?

triVertex yeah when you take a look below the fairing you’ll see you don’t need to take off the mirrors. Makes it a lot easier!

Thx man!

It’s pretty dark. In sunny weather you can see pavement through it but if it’s cloudy or dark, it’s pretty much totally opaque.
I was first this time😁
You even beat me to it!
So I got the puig screen last week. Over tightened the top screws and cracked the upper cowl. $120 mistake. I’ll be sure to never do that again!
Ouch brother, I'm sorry to hear that. Wrist tight on those little boi screws!

triVertex yeah it only had the 4. Works perfectly fine tho. Those bottom two holes didn’t really line up into anything anyways if I remember correctly
