EXPLORE Basic Setting On PartnerRIP Pro Version 9.0.3 For DTF Printing

- When I am first time get into this PartnerRIP Pro Software Version 9.0.3, many of the features I don't how it functions for DTF Printing and get confused. Then I try to search around on youtube and notice that this RIP software is already some time in the market but it is more for DTG or UV printer purposes.
Luckily I get my friend help from overseas to share a basic setting for this rip. At least, I am able to print my first piece of PET Film. From there I start exploring the rip software deeply and how it works the best for DTF Printing especially by using the Epson L1800 printer version

IMPORTANT:

Great video and very helpful! Thank you for taking the time to do this. If using 1440 x 1440 dpi on printer setup settings, should the ink limits color settings change from 70/100? Trying to get the best quality with bright colors on a pre-treated black cotton shirt. Thank you again, liked and subscribed ^.^
Yes should be less.
But personally I notice that 1440x720dpi is much to print tshirt

Nice instruction. I have a problem with my Dtf epson SP-1390. After flashing red light fixed. The machine stop moving then the green light wont turn on.

Thank you for the very informative video. We are trying to print onto 8x10" glass and wood. How can we tell the printer where the glass/wood ends and begins... and where do we place the glass/wood on the tray to match with this setting? Is there anything that you suggest we change about our settings when printing onto glass and wood? Thank you again for your help! :)

What’s the %white ink required if I’m doing in white shirt?
All is the depend on the resolution you using, quality of ink, pet film. Feel free refer back to your supplier. 😂

Hi, I can't think of anything else to try, what would make the white turn grey after a press? Did 320F at 15 seconds and it turns grey. I

Sir, I would have another question for you. The printer is new to me, it happens to me that I can't print the image in most cases it spills color, then I clean my head and sometimes it prints well and a couple of pages and mostly spills white. I use your settings 16% and 30% white. Please help me
Make sure you print at correct side of pet film. Because double sided matte PET film actually only one side can be print.
Also in the printer's preferences , do we change anything? For L1800. For example: Paper size?
No. We only do all setting at Rip software
hi, thanks for an informative video, I am running into an issue where my prints turn out fine, but when I put powder on it and put in into a heater holes appear and it ruins the t-shirt. I am currently using 2 seperate printers and they are both doing this, I have tried changing the paint but its even worse, same with paper, humidity and temperature. I heat the paper in a 3D heat press that I put on 120°C and 60 seconds, have you experianced anything similar, and if so how do you deal with it?
Nope. In this industry you must have correct mindset.
Not all DTF supplies ( Ink, Pet Film and Powder) are the same. The only same is their physical foam.

Thanks Henry. But how can I make my whites bright? What settings can I play around with? I used full area background and 300%white and 130% color. White is still dull looking. I heard you mentioned brightness?
Do you perform nozzle check? I will face the same problem with you when print head clog.

I have an Epson L805 DTF, everything works fine, I just have a problem that it always prints a larger dimension than I set. I put a 10cm picture he prints 14cm. How do I solve that. I have Acrorip 9.0.3.
Make sure the Print Out Revision is set as default 300mm x 500mm. Please read the video descriptions.

Hello there how do I change my ink settings it does not allow me to change the dark cyan and the dark magenta it stays at 50% I am able to change all other colors except for those two
I never do any adjust on the color percentage by using correct icc profile

Is there a difference if I do not turn on the "iccprofile"?
Sure got different. Icc profile is a printer language for ink, media and software to communicate each other to print accurate color.

Myself is a color specialist for desktop laser and Inkjet printer. Sure I can see the difference.

So how do you avoid the sheet feed issues? The feed issue is killing me.. ive followed all videos I can find
To reduce this problem, use double sided matte PET film. Secondly, get 20pcs A3 paper to level up the pet film

Usually I use 1440 x 720
Does anyone knows how can we print with roll 30cm x 100m ? Because now i cut the roll in 30 x 21cm and it doesn't recognise the film. It skips all the pages.

@@HenryTeoh i contact them , and they answered me that is because the rip is cracked. That it is causing problems
Use RollPrint software to print data from Acrorip so that you could prints in roll unattended and no need to wait to insert PET film sheet by sheet.

Hi, What is the best temperature for heat press DTF transfer
The answer depend on the pet film and powder you are using. Must refer back to supplier.
But by using our supplier we heat with 145C 10sec, Hot/Warm Peel. Then cover with paper heat for another 5secs

See the output size set at Acrorip. Because we import png then we still able adjust the size inside acrorip at Layout tab Output size

Just try follow my settings.

My settings inside is for A3. Remember scale down

Plesae read the video descriptions for some correction. Then follow 100% the step shown inside the video. All viewer can solve their problems with this method

I’m not sure why my ink is coming out too much on my PET paper and running. Also my my white ink is not coming out when I print.
White ink not come out it because the head is clog. You must found perfect match amount of color and white ink for your pet film.

Refer back to your supplier. They are more understand the product characteristics.
how can i print multiple pictures in one paper?
If with multiple SAME image, acrorip can do that. But if different image then can't.
Never change "Print-out size revision" , it will affect your output print size. rest are great .
Feel free to read the video descriptions for some error correct for the video
If you change the value at " Print-out size revision" you will print oval shape when you send file to print round. 😂

the pet film will roll out without printing anything on it,

@@decenttechupdates There should be problem with your PET film is too transparent that the print not recognize.
You just new to take off the all front paper roller gear and convert waste ink tank to outside.
