The Valmiki Research Centre on Ramayanam Inauguration Ceremony will take place at the Sri Ramanarayanam Temple in Vizianagaram. The Centre, the first of its kind in the world, will be inaugurated by the former Vice-President of India, M. Venkaiah Naidu Garu. Affiliated with the National Sanskrit University (NSU), Tirupati, researchers conducting studies based at this Centre will be awarded honorary degrees. The Centre also houses over one lakh books dedicated to the Ramayana.
