Is there any way you could do a video on how you mounted that fish finder? There aren't many videos showing how they did that sort of stuff and yours looks great
Thanks! On the Dorado it is super easy actually. I had to sell it (reluctantly) to pay some bills but essentially just screwed the mount to the lid, ran the cords under the hinge, then the Dorado has a transducer mount in the pod that you attach that to. If you have any questions let me know!
@@SmallCraftFisherman were you using the battery from the back or was there one up front that you used? I noticed there was a power wire but not sure if the Garmin's striker would work with it or what to even do to get it to work
@@waltoworld2 I just have one battery in the box in the back. Just have to strip the end off the lead up front and you'll be golden. I wasn't running the motor, so I actually took off the factory post clamps in the battery box. The lines with with the rings on the end (for the lights and aux/sonar power) I attached to the battery. I left the thicker wires hang - they are the ones for the motor.
@@waltoworld2 indeed! I had a 30ah Amped Outdoors lithium but any 12v battery works. I like Amped because they are light and last a lot longer. Just beware if it doesn't have screw posts (tab posts instead), you'll need to rig up an adapter to convert the ring ends on the Dorado to the battery.
have you had any problems with nuts and bolts coming loose and falling out of the seat and/or the peddle drive? I am and am wondering if it is just my Dorado or common to all.

@@SmallCraftFisherman did you have it wired to a small 12v battery? That was my plan but have seen very few evidence of it existing like that

Nope. But I put blue loctite on the seat bolts and crank arm bolts.
@@SmallCraftFisherman thanks for responding
