Don't misunderstand me, there's a lot of stigma in Japan too but I feel like most people don't care and won't go on a rant about it. Plus, there are lots of LGBT representations in the medias and arts. I've never been to Korea but from what I see it looks like a big deal for them and it's kind of sad. I noticed that they barely have any representations like celebrities and stuff and that a lot of people (especially the older generations) seem to be very close-minded and far from accepting of these types of behaviour. I hope that it will change for the better and that idols (not only, but idols are public figures so it's even harder for them) can one day be themselves without feeling pressured by social norms.
