The possibilities are likely infinite, or at least countless, so he can just choose a future in which Ichibei's power nullifying ability is simply useless on him.
And a very important detail you missed, the reason Yhwach couldnt use the almighty before in the fight(his eyes closed how he calls it) is because he had to wait exactly 9 years before he regained it and that was exactly when he fell😂 So yeah bad luck for Ichibei

That's why Ichibei's attack didn't affect him. So, in short, he can actually ALTER the future to his advantage instead of only seeing it.
I love that they did the recap the way they did, Yhwach had to wait until the 9 years to end for his power to fully return, and the recap until his powers awakened in this episode was 9 minutes. They literally made the recap this way on purpose so that the 9 years ended at the 9 minute mark. I think that was clever.
