Ilfracombe to Barnstaple NO ROADS EP5 The River at 5am

Video of a seemingly impossible attempt to move between two towns without using roads (just crossing over). Here we reach the half way point crossing the River Caen (its actually more of a stream in summer) followed by the A361 which already has early morning delivery traffic.
With injuries & fatigue building its time to take a break at the river and a few hours sleep before continuing at 5am for a deserted cross country blast.

Been watching all of this series, I love our local area its easy to get stuck on the tarka trail but if you look about there is adventures everywhere. I wonder If Bideford to Barnstaple is possible with the same rules.
