Ma'am I'm having a doubt . In the table 9.4 it's given that water contributes about 90% and that of protein is 10-15% . But ma'am according to our knowledge, plasma membrane is composed of lipid bilayer and proteins are either buried or lie on the membrane . So lipids should have more percentage than proteins right ? Kindly clear my doubt in next session ma'am.

Check in NCERT pg 93.. It's mentioned there that plasma membrane has 52% of protein and 40% of lipids.. so the table was accurate
