I'm Japanese and remember boarding this train Class 800 AZUMA between Edinburgh to London Kings X this early summer. Very nice scenery with friendly British people...That was so amazing time🤗
Great video .. my wife have taken LNER from Newcastle a few times this year and have had great service.. decent prices if you book in advance, comfy seats and easy to book seats. 10 out of 10 from me .. and my wife 😊
Thank you.. Please look at the description of the video, all the details are written... the price of the ticket depends on how much you buy in advance, mine was 122 pounds.
@@RailwayNetworks I used to travel first class before retirement and yes I did work on the journeys. There were several shall I say "selfish" passengers in first class sometimes. A troupe of drunk hen party revellers was the worst. I pity the train crews who try and deal with this. I can only assume that there is a lack of BT Police backup who could be called to board the trains nowadays.
Neither, but... i don't know how to explain it to you.. there is a canvas that is threaded through another canvas, and it allows you to move the pillow up or down without it falling...
I have to say i'm rather astonished that you find this one of the finest first class services-----------------MANY people would not agree with you camparing this with what went before on this line and also the GWR from lodon paddington whicj now have these rather awful trains.
I think Avanti west coast has also acquired some of this type of rolling stock ( 805s I think ) for Chester/ Holyhead services. It will be an interesting comparison between them and the dreadful voyagers they are replacing.
James-----I dont actually think the voyagers are too bad[in first!!] but the class 800.s are truly awful------- the standard seats are ROCK HARD@@jamesbarrett1583
Excellent capture as always. Thanks a lot for sharing this nice one.♥️♥️♥️♥️
Thank you dear friend...

How are the pillows build on?By a velcro thing or an plastic mount?

LNER Class 800 and Class 801 Azumas are very nice. Have you been on Hull Trains and TransPennine Express Class 802 and Lumo Class 803.
Only TransPennine Express Class 802..
London kings cross to Edinburgh Waverley is 392.8 miles, not 332 as indicated in the video's introduction.
Thank you and sorry about wrong information, at the time of making the video I was informed that it is 332 miles...
There is a website .. Railmiles, which gives distances between stations
👍👍👍

can u explain where the laggage kept
Overhead shelf..
We have a good moan about today's rail travel in this country but its incomparable to the rickety, clap out 1970s.

dont know how that crossing out happened!
We don't need to spend five minutes looking for your seat
It's easy, skip the part of the video that shows the seat..
I got bored with this slow laborious film after 3 minutes and turned off.
Sorry about that..
Turn it off then. No need to be unkind
