Overall I agree. I do think they are some laggards that will get pops to catch up with CGC and ACB, then ultimately sell off to equal out. SNDL looks great and should get a move. FLGC looking solid as well. Think they can get going and then come back down. I think the sector will equal out when it’s all said and done. Some will run now. Others will run later.

I just read about CGC in the news. They landed a $50 million deal. Will it be hot on Monday?

It was out Friday pre market and has some dilution / convertible debt in there.
The classic irony: Texas has the most profitable dispensaries in he country to run. Ever since Trump admin reclassified cannabis as Hemp, pretty much every CBD dispensary IN THE STATE is now selling THC A and new ones pop up like liquor stores in a once dry county. THCA is the real deal. It’s still 10-20Gram but the business is booming and everyone seems to be turning a blinds eye. It killing the black market because the market is impulsive buying vs habitual restocking. I prefer a CBD that’s aged’ into THC A.
I need a bounce to scale out of (cgc) late long I scaled back into on the drawdown. I hate this sector like I did the nat gas crushing last year.
Why is the official government announcement not going to be a factor next week?
Maybe a little bump but when everyone knows something is coming, the market prices it in.
Who is waiting to buy on that announcement that is not in yet?
Maybe that is what gets use the daily bounce to scout the lower highs for further tightening.
This is one of the most inefficient markets out there right now. The highest valuations were when the companies had the most debt and doing the least amount of business. Now even as low debt companies with much stronger sales and margins are trading for a small fraction of initial valuations. Something big is going to change here soon with valuations and it’s going to be when the institutional investors begin to aggressively position themselves for the future.
@@ChartGuys that’s true but part of the sell of could still be because it’s a “rumor” from sources. Nothing official from the DEA or White House has been announced. So when they announce it the 30-90 day comment period would start
@@ChartGuyswell it has been a market of non stop rumors and this last leak was still a rumor. Possible people and institutions won’t be buying in until we have actual proof

Majority trading for me. I have some long term no touch positions in SPY, BTC, MSFT but I only buy those positions in maximum fear, like Covid.
