The refs is the bottom of the list of why the texans lost this game. 4 big things that actually cost them the game. Special teams, no one covered 87 ever, 8 sacks allowed, and bad coaching by demeco especially in the 4th. This refs narrative is a weak cop out for not being accountable with what actually ultimately decided the game. That why it's pathetic and embarrassing for not only the fans to blame refs but even more so demeco and the players taking this weak ass excuse not self reflecting.
When the Chiefs given extra chances to “find a way to win” on one side and the other teams that face them have to play perfect in the Arrowhead in frigid weather conditions it’s a lopsided advantage for the Chiefs. I don’t have a problem with the Chiefs and I like Mahomes, I think he’s a great QB, but his flopping to get calls brought my respect for him down quite a bit.
If you want to call a ruffing the passer penalty fine but you have to do it for a QB’s equally and they don’t. When the QB runs out of the pocket and crosses the line of scrimmage he’s a runner and it shouldn’t be called at all.
Dang right LZ. I have said the same thing. The Chiefs dont need to be helped. Maybe the Texans win if those penalties are not called, but helping good (any team) teams out on 3rd and long like that is just so wrong. The Texans were hitting the other day and its still football. The Bills v Ravens game had like 5 hits that would have been yellow flags in the Texans v Chiefs game. Lamar was OB and got tackled and the REFs were like sucks to be you. My point is in the playoffs let em play. Egregious hits sure call them, but each of those drive keeping penalties was questionable and the REFs could have pulled them up.
@@Texans4LifeeeThey are in denial mode, and they will lash out at any shade thrown on their happiness. The rest of us believe what we see with our eyes, and Chiefs fans hatin it.
@@Texans4Lifeee complaining about the refs is what losers do in order to try and convince themselves their team really didn't suck, 'they was robbed'. 🤣
@@Texans4Lifeeethat hit on Goff was after he threw a pick, which made Goff a defender for the remainder of the play. There is NO SUCH PENALTY for helmet to helmet during downfield blocking. It was rough, but he shoulda just bowed out. As far as Josh goes.. he has drawn more "roughing the passer" penalties, this year, as well as the last 4 years, than any other player in the NFL. Cry harder though.
Houston fans did the refs give up 3 points after an opening long kickoff return, block the field goal, miss another and miss an extra point? That is 10 points if they are added together. Also, why did the players who hit Mahomes do so with their helmet anywhere near him. On the first hit in question if you contact him with arms extended and push him with the same force-no flag. On the second if the two players do not attempt to hit Mahomes with their helmet or forearm, and instead also contact him with their palms out touching him to insure he is down-no flag. The Chiefs sacked Stroud 8 times and not one time was the contact with the helmet leading, and there were no flags. Let's look at a sinister motive if you hit someone in the head and they are concussed, you have knocked them out of the game. Finally Troy Aikman hates Mahomes and this has been document in his twitter history after Mahomes was compared to others of the greatest winning a Superbowl and Aikman said get back to me when you have 3. Mahomes has 3 now and is pursuing a 4th. When you look at Aikman's stats, he was a game manager lucky to have played in a time where teams could keep all there great players.
Teddy Bruschi says some of the same garbage people of freaking tired of….. great players get calls. The only problem with that reasoning is other teams and players get the shaft. Shut up Teddy!!!
KC doesn't "find a way to win". They were gifted multiple wins this season. Texans never get the benefit of calls in games. Bruschi has no credibility here. Dude played with Mahomes version 1 in Tom Brady. Mahomes is actually worse. But spare me the wannabe wisdom from the guy who benefitted from the "Jordan rules" just as much as anyone. Texans made mistakes, yes. But they also outplayed the Chiefs and without help from the refs, this is a very different outcome.
@@matt_h_27if right and wrong really matter to you, then you admit that those penalties were all warranted. The Chiefs are a better team, they don't make excuses, but simply try harder next time, and Houston has very little class.
2 bad calls lost the game? Tell me you don't know football. How about no one covered 87. Demeco bad coaching decisions. Special teams a hot mess. 8 sacks taken. Yea I'm sure 2 bad calls of 15 yards would have eliminated everything the texans did bad.
@believethehype1045 It wasn't just 2 bad calls though. There were terrible spots, timely holding calls, non calls in the neutral zone. The final score is irrelevant, it's the consistency of the refs sheltering Mahomes and the critical and controversial calls that go in favor of the Chiefs. Everyone outside of Denialsville, Missouri has seen it and I'm sure the truth hurts. Zero respect for the ChieREfs man..
@chucksheppard5927 lol so you want the refs to be on your side. I'm not a texans fan. I saw the game injective and it isn't nearly as bad as yall are making it out to be. As I've stated 2 bad calls. You aren't being specific. You're just throwing out blanket statements about bad calls. Pathetic that not only the fans but the players and coach adopted this loser mindset.
@believethehype1045 Sorry, but everyone including the media is on to this shit. If you want to back a team that gets babied every game then just shut up and enjoy it.

FACTS LANCE! That was a “lean on the defense” kind of game. Hell, the defense is the best unit on the team. Punt and play field position!
Lance is on point.
