This is one of my favorite J-POP bands so far, as I got potential interests and learning Japanese (language) as well, in the meantime (since 2016 / 2017, when I was in Senior High School in my home country - Philippines). And yes, RIP Hirotaka Izumi (和泉宏隆) [1958 - 2021; due to "heart failure"] - thank you for all the hardwork and endless nostalgia across every generations. Kind of heart-breaking to see him passed away, but you know - there's a saying: "Don't cry because it's over. Smile because it happened". - Dr. Seuss. They're one of those greatest legends too! I love it!
Hey! I'm Filipino too. I already know the T-Square back in 2013 in Bandmaster online game because of Truth song (Exciting Peace 1 album). Then i try to explore more and more about T-Square. I listen to Itoh and Honda era. But in 2013 i listen more music in Itoh era. Then 2017 i realized that Honda era is good as well. Especially some of his soprano sax music like Romantic City. And he did a justice in Truth 1991! And while i'm reading your comment i'm shock about Izumi. I'm already so late for that news because i listen more to Van Halen. And i read also earlier in gonsiopea that Andoh's already left the group.

実はこの場の、大分前の席にいました。それまで日本で伊東たけしさんを凌ぐサックス奏者なんかいないと思っていたのでメンバーチェンジのニュースを聞いた時は少なからずショックでしたが、アルバムを聴き、目の前で本田さんの生の演奏を聴いてそれが杞憂だったと思い知らされた…そんなことを昨日の事のように思い出しました。

最高にかっこいいライブビデオ今でも大切に持ってます。やっぱりオープニングのメガリスは
顔を見せないことでより一層かっこよさが際立って盛り上げてくれてます。この当時のT-SQUAREは本田雅人さんがメンバーに加わったことで新しいサウンドが伝わってきてまた曲に対しても変化が垣間見られ迫力が伝わってきます。素敵な演奏で何回も見てしまいます。
このライブの則竹さんと須藤さんのＤＵＯの演奏はベースとドラムの演奏としては、歴代世界一と思います。
ドラムとベースやっている人にはわかると思います。驚愕ですよ。
