    I really enjoyed this short!
    the anamorphic adapter is neat - but do they ever work for really wide lenses?

    I quite like the Nanomorphs. I think they're very well made for their price and great for S35 cameras. I'd love ro see a similar FF lineup from them one day.

    I think a year ago you reviewed the preproduction of Nanomorphs? I remember really heavy flares. Whereas the PL set I bought has flares much more subtle than the original samples I saw. This time I bought the 80mm and skipped the 65mm. I didn't think I would use the 65mm that often and prefer 80mm or tighter. I did hear a rumor that Laowa is planning to add a 20mm to this lineup. That would be great. Right now I'm using the Fujinon ratio converter (same as used in the Pfocus). It makes the 27mm closer to a 24mm and changes the minimum focus to about 7"! Highly recommended. Also, using the Rapido achromatic diopter with this kit. I do a bit of lens correction in post and I'm very pleased with this set.

    Great content! i got a set of Silver flare nanomorphs but I really dig blue flares and barrel distortion. Would it be a good idea to add a 1,33x blue flare laowa anamorphic adapter to my set or should I got with the clean silver version to pair ti with my silver lenses? any suggestions are recommended. there is not a lot of infos outside on the web about that adapter.

    Hugely intrigued by these little beasts. Picked up the original set (27, 35 and 50 - silver) for my Komodo and have been massively impressed so far. The new adaptor makes it even more appealing too since you've essentially got 2x lenses in one in a very 'affordable' package. Amazing video again! 🤌🏻

    Hey, I recommended this (nanomorph + 1.33) on the original nanomorph review. Thanks for making this Tito! ^^
    Though I do still wonder if slr magic's anamorphot 40 + the compact mirrorless nanomorphs work well together as an ultra compact 2x. I measured the front element of my 35mm nanomorph and it's almost exactly 40mm. If only a company out there made a similarly compact (to mirrorless nanomorph) 1.33x adapter with variable diopter built in.

    got the 65mm last night, missed out on the $1 one by like 5 seconds (literally was putting in my card number), it would be interesting to see if you have the silver front adapter + an amber lens (or vice-versa) to see what would happen with the flares. Might get some interesting looks or maybe it'll just be boring but it's will be interesting to see.

    I would’ve loved to hear more about the front adapter and how it changes things, early on Laowa was claiming that it would expand the image circle to full frame and some other pretty impressive claims I’d love to hear more about how they work together

    Sweet! I'm looking forward to adding these to my set! Great overview as usual! I have the original 3 lenses in PL/EF, and my focus adjustment is on the back of the lens and is internal. But at 4:26 in this video, it seems these two have the same focus adjustment ring as the previously released mirrorless lenses, is that correct? If so, that's very cool!

    • @AnamorphicOnABudget

    • @emiliodiezjunior
      @emiliodiezjunior ปีที่แล้ว +3

      No, the ef and pl versions of this lens prodrute towards the sensor. A speedbooster glass will shock with the rear element of the lens.

    OlaTito, Sabe se os seus oval inserts funcionam no set completo de nanomorphics? Vi seus videos para as Sirui, mas não achei nada sobre as nanomorphics. Ou tavez os filtros Cine morph funcionariam? A ideia seria intensificar o bokeh do set sem aumentar tamanho e peso do adaptador 1.33x. Vou usar na Red Komodo. Valeu e parabens pelos videos!

    • @timekeepermedia5142
      @timekeepermedia5142 ปีที่แล้ว

      with the 1.33x adapter attached it's definitely better as far as character goes. Outside of an Aivascope I'm not sure there's that much better of a solution at this price point right now

      @@timekeepermedia5142 it's wider, but somehow not more interesting. It's unfortunately just boring to me. Which is a shame because it would be so simple.
