Mine just came in and has two bags: one with dark stuff that I assume is the charcoal, but the other bag has tiny white 'balls' in it. The instructions say 'charcoal x2' when referring to the bags. Do I mix them together and fill the charcoal bin? Is the white bag used for a different purpose? Sadly, the instructions are not very clear, and I can't find any information anywhere!
Huh, so the Garbo recondenses the water vapor from the food scraps? I mean, I guess that may be something for people in high-humidity regions with no AC, but it seems like an unnecessary addition and a further maintenance burden for the user compared to the Vitamix FoodCycler which just blows the water vapor out the back of the unit after passing through the activated carbon filters. Maybe they're doing it to preserve the life of the filter? I dunno. I think I'd rather just toss the stinky, saturated carbon into my garden than have to constantly empty a water tray.
To be fair, we rarely seen any condensation in the tray (in any at all).. unsure if we're missing something but the water doesn't seem to dripping there so that's nice :) Thanks for your comment though..

I have one too how do you clean it do you put the water inside of it
you can clean it with wipes BUT do not just pour water inside of it..
Can you add new food scraps to already composted scraps. Just find a nuisance to emptying a couple tablespoons of dirt.
Yea you can definitely do that - great question!
what if i have no problem with smell and i dont want to use charcoal, can i use it without the charcoal.
You can simply not replace the filter - we haven’t tried that though.. let us know :)
I love it🎉
Thank you, we do too!
I have one and a few time we have had it shut down in the middle of the process and have all the lights come on. Do you know why by chance?
Did you figure it out ? We’ve never had that happen before!
How much?
