  • My buddy gave me this guitar chassis since it had a broken headstock. Asked that I use the pickups and hardware on a new build I made for him. I fixed this one a year or so later and refinished since it was initially an almost tangerine like burst. It has Wolfetone Legends pickups. Played thru a modded Mesa Stiletto Ace with an old Celestion G12-80 speaker.

@voyxu143 thanks so much man for checking it out. That speaker transformed the amp completely. Went from a Vintage 30 to an old G12-80. Lost the clear clean tone but now it has an almost grungy fuzz like gain sound. Those old G12-80 are over the top with mids.
I meant to comment on one of your vids that I really like the tone on the intro, it sounds really good. What are you running to get the tones on the 59 comparison parts you do? They're pretty damn close.

@@berumen_guitars The intro is a Supro 1624. The comparisons are a tone modeler because the amps I am imitating I just don't have around.

If it's a custom, shouldn't it have an inlay just part the nut?

@MotownGuitarJoe it's a Gibson Joe Walsh 1960 custom shop 2013 originally referred to as tangerine burst color. It originally had custombuckers, reflector knobs, and Grover tuners. It has the Gibson Custom gold sticker on the toggle switch cavity cover. Serial Number JW 095 on back of headstock.
