As a individual that graduated at the top of my class with a 3.87 during my bachelor years in psychology I have to say the referees throwing a flag because a defensive player points at them and pushes their thumb down is inappropriate. This is a signal not that of a gun but that of understanding traditionally. What it means is gotcha, and gotcha means I understand. The league is taking this as disrespect and a symbology of a weapon. This is inappropriate. Another reason this is inappropriate is because: when you make a league rule about something like this and tell players not to do it the brain takes the reverse imprint of this and the person will do it and feel childish once they've done it. If I tell you you can't have beer or wine and you are somebody that has maybe two or three beers in a year all of a sudden you're going to be craving beer and wine. especially if you're told if you have it you will be corrected. Putting this boundary up does a force reverse imprint in the brain and all of a sudden you want what you don't really crave in the first place. I know there are sports psychologist that will agree with me in the league. when we corrected as referees the Pittsburgh Steelers win our wide receiver George Pickens playing his finger and thumbed down it was inappropriate and picking on the team. It messes with the continuity of the team and the flow of the team and is an unnecessary issue for the referees. They are childish and playing gangster style refereeing. Yes they are picking on the team and they are the ones that should be corrected. 2:16
problem is with wide receivers not saying anything bad about any of our players past or present but we have the same thing going on with the dontae Johnson and now we have Pickens we have another Antonio Brown situation you have to stay under control and actually I believe that we should be going to a tight end more often to make it better for him to get the ball make it easier on him especially in red zone areas usually tight ends
How about this? Tell him you were thinking about trading you if you don’t want to be traded do what you gotta do on the field no penalties not you will be traded Stated let’s do this
