Only one Character I found was real scary and that was Nei huaisang, he is not evil just human with justified vindictive feelings...without him nobody would have got justice!!! But he is most scary character among all because he held his grudges, earned love and affection of jin gaunyao and then at point attacked him. Jin guanyao was not completely evil hence got defeated...
I think that's jgy trick..he knows how to completely confuse people judgement for him, always tip toed to make people think he's not completely evil and pity him. He knows how to use all his resources for his advantage. He knows what he did was wrong, but still did it anyway to fullfil his ambitions, and maybe he accomplices good deeds but i think it's not because he has a good heart, but necessary to make people think he's not a completely evil person eventhough all his bad deeds were revealed. That's why he's dangerous, even more dangerous than xue yang who completely evil in people eyes

I like how he says he does what he is supposed to do because he literally did what he was supposed to do, stood by justice. I hope Nie Mingjue is proud of his little brother :)
Watching your beloved older brother die through suspicious means would be enough motivation to plot. And he knew he wasn't as smart as to find his bro's corpse by himself but he knew that WWX is. So the plan to resurrect him begins. Honestly, love his character development, Director Nie for the win
...let's talk about how almost everyone in that room didn't grew up with their parents/parent figures.. yes, I'm talking about Jin Ling, Wei Wuxian, Lan Wangji, Lan Xichen, Nie Huaisang, Meng Yao.. their parents are either screwed up or dead.. Jiang Cheng and maybe Su She are the ones who grew up with their folks (although Cheng's parents are not so parents too in the novel) OH GOD LOVE YOUR KIDS SO THEY WON'T TURN UP BAD ISBSISBSISNSIW

I mean Huiasang had Mingjue, protecting him. Mingjue looks tough, brutal and badass but if you watch the 50 episodes carefully, and watch Fatal Journey you see Mingjue's softer side coming out.
JGY is probably the first villain role that have good enough reason for his action but i feel no sympathy over. The first time i watch his 'story telling' I'm like- bro that's it?!?!?
they misjudge wei ying's action, now that they know the truth, can we get more special episodes HAHHAHA just kidding. I miss them so much and i think i will not certainly move on from them : (((
The interesting thing about both Xue Yang and Meng Yao is that, while they did suffer injustices, they made everything way bigger in their minds and ended uo veing exaggeratedly reactive to things. They were so afraid of even 1 more thing going wrong that they went full on vindictive and hateful without mercy. A very childish reaction, indeed.

His calm demeanor while recalling his suffering made him an effective villain in this scene. P.S. I know his environment nurtured him that way but it still makes him a villain though not by his choice.
I... I just think these characters in the untamed have sad stories that makes me wanna cry for them.. Even the crazy xue yang... I'm just happy wei ying have a happy ending with Lan zhan in the end.

Hell no not all weiying was the one who suffered... Others suffered because of their own misconception n judgements if only they understood weiying no one would have suffered but I guess the misunderstandings are what makes the show amazing

One thing guangyao said right was how jiang chen chose to trust others over his brother. If he was a bit more clever things could have been different.
