Well yes on tourist Visa (type c) anyone can come upto max 90 days but please make sure you/they have enough source of funds to show that they can afford living here and won't be a burden on Irish Government but yes they have solid reason to get tourist Visa type c

Usually on Critical Skills your husband can join instantly but not on General work permit (GWP) for that you need to work atleast full year and save your income make good finacial profile so that after that when your husband coming you can attach your bank statement and financial documents and sponsor him to join you and then he might also can do the jobs here.

I have small question :
If i will have positive decision for my de facto partner application ,so i have after that to apply for residency card or IRP , so how long this procedure will take to take appointment with immigration office in Cork to take face photo and finger print and then issue the card for me and send it by post or i have to go there to recieve it in the department ?
Because i apply for de fact partner application and i am here in Ireland and i am waiting for a result and i have been waiting for 5 months now , and i am afraid that it will take also long time like that for IRP card
Please let me know about your expirence and thanks a lot in advanced
In my case it took 1 month to get the appointment and next month i got my IRP card. so all done with in 2 Months but I would recommend if you can email/call them take appointment go garda station for Immigration Officer with your partner submit your docs and give your details instead mailing them your original docs. If they are not super busy then it should be get it done within 2-3 moths. I would suggest email/call them check status on your application and proceed accordingly. Thanks

I was thought that i can take appointment during couple days then after one or 2 weeks it will be done , but as what happened to you ,it seems differrent
My case that i am a de facto partner for my gf , and she is Romanian and work and live here in Ireland , and i am not EEA , i am from Jordan , and i entered Ireland by a visa , and after i entered i apply for application to get permission to be treated as a family member and till now we are waiting for the decision , is your case almost the same ?

Congratulations and officially, students are allowed to take up casual employment. They can work up to 20 hours a week during term time and up to 40 hours a week during the holidays. You can easily get part time jobs but you know to go and explore along with applying online as well. No you can't convert a visit visa (type c) into work / long term (type d) visa I tried it's my own experience I went back to India (Home) and tried again Type D visa now I'm living here

No, from my experience, I also tried to convert my Visit (Type C) into Type D longer stay with work permit but they said No you have to Go back and then reply again type d visa this is what I did then I got my residence permit after that
