Remember guys , your hair will start growing back in 2 days. Don’t trip if you can’t completely erase the lines. In 2 days , you won’t even notice. Unless you need a perfect fade for a party or wedding , you’ll be aight.

Good advice Man that is so true about cutting little kid’s hair. When a barber cuts my hair, I could sit there all day for it.. especially when I know when I’m in good hands and the hair cut will be on-point, it feels like a pamper-session and I’ve almost fallen asleep a couple of times from being so relaxed. But when I cut my sons hair. He does get frustrated and starts to fidget and once he does, he complains about cut- hairs itching his neck.

My goal is pretty much end up being proficient in cutting my own hair and my son’s hair.. and I’m happy! I just tried this method on myself and seems to work well, but it’s still gonna take me a lot of practice. My question is, was it mentioned in the video if the clippers were Zero gapped? And does zero gapping make a huge difference in this technique/ method or if the clipper is not zero gapped, it may affect/change that 3/4 lever position ? Thanks

10/10 clipper fade. 2/10 scissor work. I can see all the waves in the hair. At least a vertical cross check and maybe a thinning shears touch. Great video

That’s amazing! Ive never seen anyone who performs a very technical, careful and detailed hair cut like what you gave in the video. I cut my brother hair this evening and the behind look not very smooth and after I watched your video I understood why. As I used only a single clipper with no comb. I did my hair that look ok but to my brother hair it’s different hehe. He might need to go to a hair dresser to fix it up hehe. Thank you so much for your sharing. can you guys do another taper fade cut? with a little more detail on how to line up the ears going down to the neck to create the proper shape? i always have trouble with that when i practice on my little brothers head lol
Guys i love your videos you inspire me so much i became better barber because of you guys but can you show us some HIGH FADES that are little above temple peak. 80% of my clients want high fades and when i give them a fade in your style they want a little higher next time. So please help a brother out.
Know exactly what you mean, those clients like the xtra high fades or the high & tight as some call it. Halfway above the temple. Regular high fades start at the temple. Same with this video, where I’m from this is a mid drop fade. As long as you execute the process you should be good no matter where you start 👍🏽.
I used an old Wahl chrome super taper, and I was doing a pretty decent job after i watched some of your videos, but then I decided to get the Seniors and all of a sudden i cant do my fades correctly.. Could it be the the blade thats messing me up?

Sometimes that don’t take it all out so I have to take it out with what I set it in with. If anything open it a tad little bit from all the way closed

Find it easier if you start from the highest guard and fade down than if you fade up from the lowest
