I ember Andrea. He was such an innocent soul. He has grown.

I’m only halfway through the video and I can already Say that I don’t know why this video isn’t getting the traction that it deserves. This rendition is already so beautiful!

6:56 was a perfect note for him, vowel placement and tone. And I love how it ended on a vocal break for him which might’ve been intentional this time.

That was fantastic. The guy knows his voice very well, and he knows his limits. And he used them completely. And if he could do falsetto forever, he would, lol. But he’s a fantastic belter.

I really like his cover of Ben Platt's cover of River. It actually brought this 51yo man to tears.
Ben Platt's version is incredible also. I think Ben has a slight edge on tone but Andrea has it on vibrato control. The other thing, the first major jump into falsetto he does in River is when it got me so intensely emotional, then the "I made my baby cry".
I thought you might want to listen to it.
Some more great singers from talent shows: Johnny Manuel, Jolan, Paul Akister. Paul's tone is *incredible* for a white guy(I mean that as I say it, you don't usually hear that rich gold tone from a caucasian) but he was continuously given poor song choices and he also didn't do well in the sing off, he cracked. But if you listen to his Ed Sheeran/Marvin Gaye mashup cover as well as Etta James on his personal channel here, he sounds beautiful. They are his two oldest videos, sadly all his more recent videos have been recorded with a poor mic and in a terrible acoustic environment. The guy really doesn't do himself any favours.
Another one is Theoni Marks from the Voice Australia, and another is the much forgotten Jon Wilding from the UK.
    Cheers! Love your rection vids!
    Peace from down under.

I like that his voice accidentally broke in the middle of the song, and it still worked. Lol. I’ll get back to you so I can tell you about where it happened.

You’re very lucky that your voice becomes raspy when it goes out of your range. Most people just end up straining with kind of a strangled sound that sounds kind of nasal but in a bad way. Lol. Or they go flat which pretty much usually happens simultaneously.
