The guy played phenomenal the first season, our top goalscorer and without his help, united would've looked even worse than they were. Sure he lost a bit of form in the 2nd season, but that happens to a lot of players. I would have really liked the trio CR7 - Varane - Casemiro to have been able to evolve longer together as starters. I'm sure he would have been a hit. When CR7 was in good shape, Manchester United had too unreliable a midfielder. Added to this the fact that Varane has been injured for a long time. Maybe Ten Hag has some merit in the revival of the club, but I still say it's mostly thanks to the arrival of Casemiro.

I would have really liked the trio CR7 - Varane - Casemiro to have been able to evolve longer together as starters. I'm sure he would have been a hit. When CR7 was in good shape, Manchester United had too unreliable a midfielder. Added to this the fact that Varane has been injured for a long time.
