Hey Nicole I love watching your videos and how positive they are. I don’t know if you know you said a slur or not but you did. At 7:18 you and your friends said the word c00n which is very offensive and is a slur which was used/is used against black people. I hope this was just on accident and you didn’t know anything about it because I love watching your videos. ❤

@@saraorange8074 It’s still a slur whether used in that context or not. I’m assuming your not black so you don’t really get what it feels like or why I’m offended that she said that. A word is not just a word and it holds dark history and should only be used by black people. Also if I just said it was a slur why would you type it out? I still love Nicole and I know she probably didn’t mean it like that but that still doesn’t mean it’s not offensive.
@@5starra your right i’m not black but i am asian and people say chink all the time but they aren’t using it in the slur context so i don’t get offended. if someone were to say chunk but in the slur context I would get offended but if they were using it in the dictionary term i wouldn’t. that simple.
@@saraorange8074 Ok but that’s how YOU feel about ASIAN slurs and your allowed to feel that way. I don’t personally think anyone but the person of that race should be using slurs that were formerly used against them. You say you don’t feel offended when the slur is “not used in a slur context” but it’s still a slur and holds hurtful emotions and history behind it. There’s so many words in the English dictionary that you could used instead of one that is also used as a slur. It’s so easy to just say the rac at the beginning of raccoon. I again don’t think Nicole is racist or would intentionally try to say that slur but I’m saying that she did and it’s not ok. Also I have never in my life heard someone say the slur you mentioned used in the dictionary way and not to offend someone but I guess we have different experiences.

hey nicole i just wanted to let you know that the word c00n is a slur for black people and shouldn’t be used in any way, and i know you guys were just using it as in like the raccoon thing but it is extremely offensive to use. c00n is a term for a “white washed” black person and used back in slave and segregation times for those black people who kissed up to white people and praised them and pretended they were better than black people. maybe take it down and edit that part and re-upload, ik you didn’t mean it in that way so just trying to let you know.
