As always, ustadji is much absorbed and uncompromising in recordings than live ones. This lyrics is the one of his once famous composition in Charukeshi. Here he reverts more towards his Sahaswan root and sometimes, those unforgettable tankari and mudkis of his great uncle to veer out of the memories of the same raga of his idol, AK. I am only disappointed for not hearing the raag-defining alaap from him, which makes our mornings.
