Hola Courney. I really like your art, I've been following you on Instagram for a few months and now here. I started oil painting a few months ago, I'm starting to do my own canvases, I'm priming it with gesso but it absorbs a lot of oil on the first and second coats and dries fast. How would you recommend using the plaster to prime or would you recommend using other methods? Thank you very much in advance for your answer. Greetings from Peru

And that’s really interesting, unfortunately I don’t use gesso for my pieces so I don’t know if I’ll be much of a help 😭 I typically go straight in with my underpainting, I don’t have much experience with using gesso.
