ASW is in my neck of the woods. My favorite of theirs is their Fiddler Unison. I also have a bottle of their special release of Druid Hills which is similar to an Irish whiskey. Also my wife may post as well lol. Happy RWF 🤘
As a guy JUST getting into whiskey, you guys have been fantastic to watch! I have little to no experience with whiskey outside of Crown Royal, Bulleit Bourbon and Sortilege (Canadian Maple Whiskey). I have a gift card that I will be taking to buy a bottle of Redbreast 12 and Jameson. Since I have a gift I figured why not. Anyways, thanks for all the videos and the community you guys have here, it definitely makes it exciting to see how much you guys appreciate it. Keep it up!
In poland triticale (pszenżyto in polish ^^) is really common. I was like: "what's so unique about that?". Then i checked and we are world leader in a triticale production. Shoud i open my own distilery and make it as a trademark of polish whisky? xD
Cold Smoke is a Fantastic beer from Kettle House in Montana. And I just bought this beer barrel aged whiskey a couple weeks ago for a tasting event. Should be fun!
Hey guys, you should do an episode looking at/reviewing all the bottles on the small shelves on the back wall there. Would be good to have one episode looking at the essential ones you’ve called out
I was actually tasting along ( A day late) with the DryFly Bourbon 101. I muttered "sandlewood" about 90 seconds before Rex found sandlewood in the nose on the second bottle. FUN!
Pelican Brewing uses Dry Fly Wheat whiskey to barrel age a wee heavy ale. It is Captain of the Coast and it is outstanding. I wonder if that is the beer barrels that they aged the wheat whiskey in.
Watched this video this morning, went to the store to get stuff for New Year’s Eve and found a bottle in my grocery store thank you for the recommendation!
Triticale [trit-i-kale-e] is a hybrid mixed between wheat and cereal rye. The unique notes you're picking up is likely just from the unique mating of the two grains.
Hey guys, the app idea is amazing, here in my city in Brazil we have that for craft beer, so tasting rooms of the brewery can put what beer they have there and even delivery numbers :) It seems like a great idea.
I had a couple barrel samples of dryfly trit, one with a port barrel finish and one without. The store i work at did a store pick with them. Pretty damn good stuff.
I recently tried a beer that had a portion of it made from a milk stout aged in Laphroaig barrels. I'm what it would be like to put another whiskey in the barrels after the milk stout. The beer was good, so it would be interesting to see what it does to a whiskey.
So I got to buy a bottle of Ardbeg 10 today. My god is that stuff strange. Love it though; I'm going to have to try some other bottles of Islay Scotch in the future.
I like to imagine that in Superhero comics/movies things don't really go down in Texas very often because Moochman and Somboy have things handled. With the occasional help from their secretive allies, The Modern Rogues. Other super powered groups just try not to acknowledge they exist.

I am sill patiently waiting for Daniel and Rex, to do that intro together. Maybe all as one, a few times. Then a few times taking halves, and/or separate lines (possibly with them saying last line in unison) and of course... ... ... ... singing it just a thought I have thunk. waddaya think? :-)
Hey guys, first and most importantly I love your content, keep killing it! However I have a problem. I recently turned 21 and have been wanting to experiment with alcohol. Since everything's closed, and I am a cheap bastard. I figured why not try my first whiskey and after a bunch of, grade A research, a.k.a binge watching whiskey tribe, i decided that I would find either some Makers Mark, Monkey shoulder, or buffalo trace, all of wich sounded pleasant. Thankfully my Dad convinced me to buy a sample size bottle of Maker Mark, because he was certain I wouldn't like it, and as much as it pains me, he was right. I drank it neat, and It wasn't what I had imagined at all! It tasted like i had ground up my wooden work bench, poured that into to a container of nail polish remover, then tried to cover that up with imitation vanilla. Admittedly the feeling and smell was a bit overwhelming, but it did become more complexe as I got deeper into my pour. So maybe I just need to grow a bit more accustomed. However that experience was really kinda disappointing. Do you think you could possibly recommend a better "entry level" whiskey? that preferably doesn't taste like I distilled an ashtray, or do you think i might as well save the money because I just might not be a whiskey person
Just sat down with the wife... she is aware but has only liked 1 rye whiskey I have donated... by the way, how many bottles do I need to donate for an invite to the distillery or wizarding school?
Great episode. Highs, lows, throwing it out there, feeling like a zoo animal...etc. But, But, BUT.! Fancy Dan... you let us down! Twice Daniel said FUNK and nary a cool sound or pink FUNK graphic could be found to accompany said FUNKINESS! For shame, sir! Lol

Wow, so one Google later Triticale is a hybrid of wheat and rye. Now I’m really interested in this stuff.
Quadrotriticale is the only Earth grain that will grow on Sherman's Planet
Just don’t let your tribble near it or you won’t have any left to plant

Cold Smoke is a Scotch Ale brewed by KettleHouse Brewing in Missoula MT. Been there. Good beer!
Oh right! That’s why the name sounded so familiar. Agreed, really good beer.
Star Trek's "The Trouble With Tribbles" episode had the Enterprise guarding quadrotriticale being stored at a space station.

Cold Smoke, which is slang for the powder snow that kicks up while skiing, is the name of a popular scotch ale in MT.

On the geolocation thing. Also add a feature where you can ask it for the nearest distillieri for the people who don't like to have geolocation on.
