- I'm Joe, and I'm swapping the fast-paced and chaotic existence of a university student for life afloat onboard a narrowboat on the UK canals and rivers.
In this week's episode, Fraser and I take a wee trip to the DIY shop for some big updates to my narrowboat's interior. Plus, Mam and Dad rock up with another big addition, and hilarity ensues when we try and get it onto the boat!

When you watch an operation like getting your sofa into your boat you begin to understand why a lot of people opt to do built in sofas in their boats/vans/tiny homes :) Glad you got it there in the end!

@@Voyage_of_Lydia I'm 5ft9 but what I lack vertically I more than make up for horizontally which can be awkward on a narrowboat 😂 but luckily my boat doesn't actually feel narrow and I have nearly 7 feet of head room and yeah your vlogs kinda remind me of top gear back when y was good
