Well after the man that shot him left, Luz/Lucia was left there with her dead dad, the last words he spoke being this: 'Don't be sad, I'll only be away for a little while.' and she was holding his hand while he died
This is NOT canon with the show, The Owl House, it's an incredibly good show That I encourage people to watch, but this is my head canon for what happened to her father since he is dead, Go watch the show if you want, also, If ya didn't notice the outfit he's wearing, and what Lucia/Luz wears now in the Beta universe I have, She took the outfit he used to wear(he had multiple of those) and began to wear it since it fit her, ever since then she's been looking for ways to feel closer to her dad after his passing.
