I am a Seattle fan and I went to a game against Portland. It was complete madness, there were fights in the street after the game (which I don't think belongs in football). I will always remember just the march to the match and the police closed down the streets and we all had our scarves up and were chanting like crazy people. I need to go back to Seattle because damn I love this sport. Seattle won btw, goddamn I hate Portland. I remember I was at work when they were playing Atlanta FC for the title and cheering when Atlanta won and people were asking me 'Are you from Atlanta?' "No I just hate Portland." Mad respect though for giving me one of my favorite football experiences in Seattle in the pouring down rain. Rivalry days are the worst and best thing ever.
I’m a northern NY’er who lives near both the Ontario and Québec borders but my love goes way back with the Montréal Expos. I’m always going to support Montréal teams. I love visiting Montréal and believe it’s the greatest city in the world. I just wish I knew French well enough so I could work and live there. I think the language laws are too uptight for businesses and work, otherwise I could see Montréal being the financial capital of Canada.

As a Canadian it's definitely a different feeling when it's only our anthem. There is history in this rivalry, lots of bad blood and literal blood across centuries. That being said at the end of the day we are brought together as Canadians since nothing can unite the anglophones and francophones like showing the Americans.
