Your positive attitude and enthusiasm is what makes these spontaneous trips so interesting and enjoyable to watch, thanks for taking us along for the ride. Something I want to do on my bike soon
I've been riding for 39 yrs and by now I've hung just about every part of a bike that one could so I'm less interested in videos where someone is doing that. This video is what I love about riding. The adventures, the discovery and the wonder. Appreciate this.
Yep! That little outing is exactly the kind of riding I have in mind for my retirement years. I'd like to just head out some direction and see what I see. Already have my "lifetime" National Parks Pass. Looks like it will be tons of fun. Thanks for the video! Looks like it was really enjoyable!!
I've been to the Pagoda so many times on my own bike, but never after dark. I didn't even know about the lights until Burch shared photos of this trip. Freakin' sweet!
The videos we make with the most love often go unappreciated. Our rally and autox videos are a scrapbook of the best times with best people, but they get NO views. Everybody just wants another "which seat should I put on my Rebel 1100" video, so thanks for dragging me into that space 😂 Keep at it brother.
This is awesome, because I'm on the tree crew that cleared the trees off the hillside on the road leading up to the Pagoda about 2 years ago. So it's pretty wild to see it on my TV 😂😂
Thanks brotha!! And yea these fog lights have been an absolute GAME CHANGER! I don’t know how I rode at night without them before. If only I had them for the WV trip 😅😭😂
lol, I know every inch of that trip! Grew up in MD, live in PA, ride or drive down and back on a regular basis. Lots of better routes than 83, but at least it’s quick. The riding in PA is amazing, as long as you stay away from Philly.
Thanks for making a bunch of strangers feel the joy of riding albeit just a literal snap shot of a moment. You represented the riding community well there, my friend. Stay safe!
Incredible video & road trip. You just gave me another Bucket List Ride. I saw your Maryland's Loneliest Road and had to do that. Thank you, keep making Incredible Content. Ride safe & have fun.
I went up there durning the day, But Sunset was the time to go. I've been in DE and MD my entire life. Still have yet to have an oyster. That B&B was legit. Got to make it down your was soon.
I saw the pagoda and had to watch!!! Im in ephrata just about 20 mins out, hope tovride with you sometime, and come back in spring and summer the bike/ car scene is nuts with the food & ice-cream truck up there on the weekends
I actually really LIKE those ASMR morning coffee videos. I liked when Her Two Wheels did camping videos like that, before she got addicted to sponsorships. I love the dugout cabin building videos that include stuff like that (ie: Alex Wild), or the Ukrainian bladesmith that always includes brewing tea while he tempers his blades (shurap). It may seem cheesy and over-done in videos, but it's soothing dammit! As is riding in PA, which is just a ridiculously beautiful state.
Dude fantastic video! Loved every minute of it! I wanna take a trip like this with you dude. It would be tons of fun bro! but regardless I hope you an Nina have a good thanks giving and Christmas if I don't talk to you before!
Where in pa is this? I live in jersey an now I want to go there. Just it'll be a day trip though if I can.the bobber might beat me up to much. Gonna trye looking this up on map quest. Ok found it ita in reading says it's about 1hour 25 minutes away. Takes me 1hour 30minutes to get to work going up the skullkill to ambler. Love to take the wife but I do t want to risk her life. I see accidents. Atleast ince a week going to work. One day this summer I will go there.
Thanks my guy! This reminded me that it's actually only an hour and half away from me. Might rip up there soon or early season. Another one to do is the huge Hindu temple in New Jersey.
Maybe the local tourism bureaus should sponsor you to do some videos like this? I had no particular desire to put Pennsylvania on my bucket list until now.
that pagoda is underutilized. I wish someone would have made it a boutique hotel. I like going to the pagoda in June and August because there is a SCCA hillclimb that goes up Drueya Drive. And like a movie, yes the pagoda was. It was in the M. Night Shyamalan Avatar the Last AirBender movie. Ill have to check out the Air BNB in the future it looks great. If you want to check out more covered bridges check out the Lehigh valley, that's where I'm from. We have a few and then there are some in Bucks and Berks county also.
Oh wow, I had no idea it was in that movie! That’s wild!! I also had no idea that they do a hill climb there. That definitely sounds like something I’d want to check out next year 😳
Awesome! The only motovlog I ever attempted was up to the Pagoda. My video editing skills suck, and my audio was a mess, so I made it private, but my god what a fun riding destination! You have more guts than I do, though, as I've never done an overnight trip, or gone further than about 70 miles from home, or even ridden after dusk. Meanwhile, I've gotta know where that AirBNB actually is! Not quite as secluded as the Hobbit House my wife and I went to in Ohiopyle, PA a couple of weeks after my accident in October, but I love the setup and would LOVE to hang at that fire pit getting sloshed on wine.
I have a link to the AirBnB in the description of the video actually! Although it looks like I may have lucked out going during the week. I paid ~$300 for the night, but someone else commented that it was something like $575 a night when they checked 😅🤯
As I watched I told my husband we have to get him a freeway capable motorcycle so we can go on day trips like this! He has a Honda Monkey and I have a NC750x
Hey Burch I got another covered bridge for you there's a place called shadow of death and it's in a valley so you would be riding through the valley of shadow of death. They also have a covered bridge about a half mile from the plaque for the shadow of death. It's not far from a community called burnt cabins that name is probably a holdover from the times of the French Indian wars.
If you and Nina are ever looking for a getaway in Amish country I recommend AmishView Inn & Suites by intercourse, pa. Lovely area, lots of country roads. You can even do scooter covered bridge tours in the area. My wife and I spent a weekend there last year. Kinda upset I didn’t know this was close to that area otherwise we would have checked it out. Guess we will have to go back.
Thank you!! These are Joe Rocket Eclipse gloves. Absolutely love them! I’ve found that the Velcro wears out a little quick, but they’re only like $25-30 so I just get a new pair every couple seasons 😂
@LifeOfBurch You will have to come back to Lancaster to try Shady Maple if you haven't already. Rewatching the video, you did your outro near the Redners mini market.
@@LifeOfBurch ya its huge! Check it out search West Montrose kissing bridge. Mennonite country, once got stuck trying to pass the bridge at noon on a sunday, 60 horse and buggies coming from the other side haha
You should see me now...(#1. a new 24' RTR Spec 2 Ford Mustang ... #2. 06' HD FHDLI w/Chrome!!! ...#3. Apes and gunslinger seat on my Cmx1100a !!!) And I finished the new wood floors in my home, too!

Great video, dude. Your ability to find the joy in all things, denotes a wisdom beyond your years.
Keep it up brother, you're an inspiration.
This is my new favorite LOB video ever!!🤍🧡

That is an epic road trip. That is why I love riding. I need to go on one more long trip like that before it gets much colder.
Thanks for the great videos you make. I think this is one of my favorites of the videos you have made. Peace from a motorcycle rider in Connecticut.
I just love these roadtrip videos. Y'all are blessed with great weather. We just got the first snow this weekend here in Sweden.
The red lights of the pagoda really accented nicely on your bike. Nice ride, nice Air B&B.
Thanks dude!! 😁🤘🏻
I've been to the Pagoda so many times on my own bike, but never after dark. I didn't even know about the lights until Burch shared photos of this trip. Freakin' sweet!
Always a good day with a LOB video!
That one camping trip is my favorite episode. The edits, the foreshadowing, the suffering 😂😂😂
Spontaneous is the best. I had a lot of great times by doing just that.

You went right by my house in Northern Baltimore County! I love seeing all the places I know in your videos.

I live closer than you to the Reading Pagoda, if you can make it a spontaneous trip, then I really need to go! Great video as always!
Need to go back there for sure. Looks epic.

I used to live up the road from the little restaurant you were at for breakfast and was baptized in the river you were at pool forge.
