This is the third video of the education series. I am sorry for the number of inactive days as I was busy with my jobs and all, but now I'm back and will try my best to upload regularly.
This video is all about the early childhood education diploma program of Sheridan college, we tried to cover as many things as possible.
This video was shot in Feb this year so there is snow outside.

Yes, might you can do ece-intensive that's one-year program as u did this course from other country already. If not you are still eligible for 2years ece diploma program or 4 years degree whatsever you wanna choose

Hello Palak, yes for almost all courses the classes took place 5 days a week Monday to Friday. Doing part time work is a bit easy to manage but it's really hard to work more than 20-25 hours a week, as now ircc allowed students to work 40 hours per week till from 15 november 2022 to November 2023 but for working that much hours on off campus work along with full.time studies at Sheridan is little bit hard we need to keep well study-work balance.
A good tip is doing on campus jobs on weekdays.
For fee most of students cover it during drop or during regular semester can depends upon your expenses and saving accordingly me might we can save at least half of our fee if will manage. At last it depends upon everyone's situations, working abd studying balance, scheduling etc.....

Yes for sure, after this diploma you can pursue degree in this field and then even masters or you can do OCT that is for teaching field.
If I have done my graduation in ba program so can I do post graduation diploma in early childhood education.

Hii Shilpa, I hope you are doing well. Currently this field is in highest demand in BC. You might need to take a short course to start working as ECA. You might get job as assistant in class but it will be better to take short course too for better opportunities. It varies from centre to centre and province to province too. All have differ requirements.

So far I know, you will have 20-22hrs of study per week. It can be divided into. Multiple days Or 2, depends on college

I've a few concerns.
I've done my graduation in design field. So i cannot come to canada directly in early childhood course because of visa requirement.
So will a 1 year diploma beneficial or do i have to do a 2 year diploma after doing any 1 year course in canada (in terms of securing a job and PR)?
I am good in arts and craft and i like dealing with children. What else should i expect from a job as an ECA? Will good in arts be a plus point?

Hii Rishika, yes you are eligible still the only thing as you studied in design field it would be a change of field once you apply for ece program and you need to explain why you changing field or if there is any link between both fields that u can form.
Moreover, I think there are variety of other courses that you can pursue as you are in art field...
Moving ahead as you asked about doing course there if you do any 1 year or 2 year course related to ece field in your country it's good as it's a positive point with regards to your application but still while applying u need to tell why you switched ur field or any connection between both fields.

Sheridan is a college, there is no any school under it. It has three campuses Davis - brampton, HMC - Mississauga, trafalgar - Oakville.

Sheridan gives admission only who got 70% marks in all subjects

@@diljotkaur1627 it really depends upon student too, sheridan is strict in studies but if you work hard you will get good academic standing. Studying medical courses as full time student and managing work with it can be really tough but not impossible. It depends upon a lot of other factors too diljot.

Yes she is eligible for both degree and diploma. Diploma will have 4 semester: 16 months. Degree is of 4 year.

I hope you are doing well. Usually for full time students the schedule is 5 days a week or 4 days a week as later we get 2 days practicum and 2 days classes. We also have access to build our own schedule so we can adjust classes as per availability.

It’s a public college, as such there is no day care inside college but you can find it outside. Yes this provides pgwp
