boss and fisher have the main longest cutting edges, western has like a really weak edge. i like fisher over boss cause of staking snow, not saying boss can do good too, i just like the chain more.
@@mattk9907 yeah for sure. Fischer is good for stacking snow if you don’t haul snow but for us we haul snow from are lots with skid steers and dump trucks but since we don’t boss suits us very good for scrape cutting edge and we have a lot of islands. So the boss joystick controller fits me well. But fisher is also very good.
@@k-9tiger386 Yeah I’m running a 30-year-old Fisher straight blade and I’ve been stuck in snow with it this year and I got one giant ass pile at a customers place. So I like it don’t get me wrong I would use a boss too.
@@mattk9907 yeah if Fischer fixed there controller to the way they said where. If you have the wideout. So let’s say I wanna extend 1 wing. You will need to hold it and the wing will come out and you will have to let go and press the button again to curl it.
@@k-9tiger386 no on the wide out of u hold the on wing bitten it goes all the way out then if u hit it once it comes back to straight blade and hit again goes back to scoop. It a weird idea on that.
Hey Jonny I got my Frist plow right after Thanksgiving it has snow once on the 27 of December of 6 inches very dry in Denver but the mtn are get a lot of the snow I just wish it not run out before it got over the mtn I might have to get the mow out soon
Colorado dude remember it’s a investment. I hope u get more snow.
That is a lot of buttons lol as a rookie I’m very happy with my simple set up man. It’s straight 2 toggle switches lol . Maybe one day I’ll set up to a better set up but for now it works for me
Blackfork Lawn&Snow as soon as you can get wings on it!!👍
Prodigy. End of story
As being a concrete boom pump Operator when I got this plow I felt right at home. For beginners yes might be a little much to get use to. I'd give beginners a wide open space, which isn't always available
Too much drama that plow is very simple tu use and much faster to get jobs done than any other type
I own different types of plows and this the best
Big reason we use boss v with wings ultimate set up,there remote is simple and the plow is dependable just hope toro doesnt change things
Angel Camp man good to know I may look into this. I may be selling the wideout
I run a snowdog on my 2009 Ford F-250 not bad plow
Sure Cut Landscaping Inc I loved mine it plowed very well
Why everybody still loves a joystick control.
I run a boss xt vplow currently but my favorite set up is a 8ft super duty with wings. Its an absolute tank on large lots
What 8 plow do u like
Iv got the western v plow with wings on it I wasn't I love with the v plow before I added the wings I always had a straight blade before and wasn't terrible impressed for a bit and It uses the same controller it took be a few snos falls but i relly grew to love the blade over time and get used to the controls
Joshua Feltz 101 I’m sure after a few more storms I will have it down pack.
thanks for video, Controller would drive me a bit crazy as well. I hope you get used to it and the accident get resolved to your satisfaction. Meiters wants you back in a snoway. I have a 29hd with wireless, not sure which one you had.
PLOW BOY same plow loved it except when it got too deep
I love my ext. it’s only in and out. The expanding plows are where it’s at in my opinion. I ran our 10ft dxt for years and the ext is so much better. Never hits the ground driving around and goes down to 8ft. Way more efficient when going around corners than the vplow. Pair that with a pull plow and it’s crazy what you can do. I have a few short videos of each if your interested.
Heavy Equipment I will def check them out I like the idea. I’m sure I will get used to it.
You need the joystick controller
Jredfilms and LawnCare your corect
You can’t blame the multi factions of the plow for backing into a vehicle use the accident as a comparison for price point. You are new to the equipment and not familiar or trained fluently. Operator error not the plow itself.
Jessie Hodges that’s a great point. I have had it now for three months and the controller flat out stinks
The plow is a game changer one of the best in the industry. You can't blame the plow for you backing into a car it's gonna take you several snow storms if not a whole season to get used to it .
I have eight of these plows on my trucks I always have problems with the hydraulics on two of them ended up being the installer because I brought it to a different guy that I normally go other than that the plow is solid and I have no complaints after six years of years of use
I forgot to tell I got a boss standard duty straight plow 7' 6"
Not a fan of wideouts. Too many moving parts that can easily break
Andrew Stratton it def has its place.
👀Johnny have you had an eye exam lately? 👓 Shit happens🤷♂️
#mownation
Jason O'Bannon lol yea my eyes were looking at the wrong thing the remote lol
I got to get me so wings
Sure Cut Landscaping Inc res snow dog has nice ones too
Try a v plow
You think snow dogs are good plow
Sure Cut Landscaping Inc yes I think it’s a good setup. I had one for years
