There are so many film industries in India and culture are very different from each others, even languages also. It's like each of state is another country. In India there is more than 7-8 major film industry and all different from each other. All combine Indian film industry in general is the biggest in the world. And also India has world largest film city. Many of the songs from Top 15 are passed 1 billion .
The most listened to music in India has a very important folk component. And many of the videos have an impeccable filmography as they are excerpts from films. I was looking for something different and I found the Sanam group. Adapt classic songs to modern pop and they also create their own themes . Teri aankhon se is my favourite.
There is nothing like "where should I visit in India". At every 50-100 km, the language, culture, living style changs here.

the head wear that you were talking about it called a "pagri/paag" its a turban and a part of the Sikh and punjabi culture, it represents, honour and respect, so most older males and some females also wear them on daily basis, and take for example a war like situation where someone takes off their paag, it was be taken as disrespect. Talking about film industries, India has multiple film industries like Bollywood(which is the Hindi film industry and currently the largest film industry of India), Tollywood (which is the Tamil film industry), Kollywood (which is the Kannada film industry), Gollywood(Gujarati film industry), Pollywood(Punjabi film industry) and also the Bengali film industry and Telugu film industry. We have playback singers and also independent singers.
