I liked this, it seems very relaxing and isn't hyper complicated with 1000 different tabs, its just a simple crafting survival game that's like sea world
This is honestly, the first "survival management sim" game that ever pique my interest enough to consider buying it. Alas, like every game of the genre besides one or two games, it's in Early Access, and will probably stay that way forever.
I love that the first time i've seen waterworld ever was earlier this year, so at least i can totally feel that reference here. Looks very interesting! (i might have a town-building/survival addiction, but its fiiiineee)
Great video as always Splatt! This game looks really cool. It's got great potential and a solid foundation it just need's some polish overall, (to the UI for instance) a little fleshing out of the systems and gameplay mechanics, maybe some customization options like choosing your starting survivors and things of that nature ala rimworld, and more content. The groundwork is there for something awesome in my opinion. Hopefully the dev's stick with it and bring it up to that next level. Definitely would be on board for a part 2 for this title!
thank you for the input you put for these indie games. It is a pleasure to watch you play and listen of your review. I'll definitely check this game, looks pretty interesting
You can pause production or gathering of buildings, instead of destroying them. also its not exactly what you asked for, but if you click on the resources you are gathering it give you a % counter.
Hey, splat, You didn't see it but the X on the movement map means where your townhall is going to go. So you have to plan around that when your resource gathering or else you could be wasting your time when you think your getting stuff
As you said that the Entire Rift is made out of wood and could easily burn.. I am not too sure about it, since wet wood just won't burn and it takes a LOT of energy to burn.. meaning it has to be huuuuge fire to burn soaked wood.
Smelter and other firestarters should be connected by ropes ("cable"). There wood be an established procedure to douse the flames and attached the firestarters during storms and in the 40s (the southern hemisphere latitudes that are marked with high winds and enormous waves). Devs, please review Patrick O'Brian's work and other Age of Sail resources for more guidelines Maybe these kind of tech advances are researchable after you find some of these Age of Sail books of your own in crates?
I like how I buy games a lot after watching youtube or twitch casters play them. But then I only play like an hour or two because its not as enjoyable as they made it seem like....... that and im lazy.
Yeah bouyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy I'm sorry, I'm so sorry. I just couldn't kelp myself.
I prefer the charm and art style of Flotsam, this just seems like one of those games that saw an idea and wanted to churn it out faster so it was on the scene first. Lazy
what if "water world" like things aren't water worlds thatd be interesting like its just reversed like the surface is covered in water but if you go down deep enough theres a whole civilization that's like on the "surface" like ice age dawn of the dinosaurs but instead of ice its water
why not just pause the evaporator instead of deconstructing it? In these kinds of games usually there's a loss of resources when destroying buildings, what a waste.
Congratulations. You were the first comment on a relatively small youtuber’s video that was posted in the middle of the day when few people are watching and even fewer taking the time to comment. Are you proud of yourself?
"Raft + Rimworld" I'm hooked. I already need more. I don't care that I haven't finished my dinner yet, give me the second entree.
Can i commit war crimes in this?
I liked this, it seems very relaxing and isn't hyper complicated with 1000 different tabs, its just a simple crafting survival game that's like sea world
One of the options right off the bat when you encounter survivors is to eat them.
I'm sold.
This is honestly, the first "survival management sim" game that ever pique my interest enough to consider buying it.
Alas, like every game of the genre besides one or two games, it's in Early Access, and will probably stay that way forever.
I'm personal friends with one of the developers for this game, super excited to see his work being noticed! Awesome video!
Sorry your indie Dev friend was a sour puss shit kicker
That's great!
If you are enjoying this game I would love to see a series!
"Mighty, mighty, Floatland!"
"Floating all the way!"
"To the rising dawn or the setting sun!"
"It's floating all the way!"
Thanks for showing me this game! It looks very interesting and it seems to be right up my alley. I’ll definitely be looking into it!
I'm liking this. It's chill, but the concept is intense. If that makes sense. I mean, survival is inherently intense, but the game itself is chill.
this looks like a pretty cool game, I hope you will keep playing it and showing it in future episodes.
I love that the first time i've seen waterworld ever was earlier this year, so at least i can totally feel that reference here. Looks very interesting! (i might have a town-building/survival addiction, but its fiiiineee)
*Crash* *Snap* *Boom* *Crash*
Splat: We almost had a collision there.
:I
This game looks really cool! Make a few more episodes of this!
This game definitely looks promising. Added to my Wishlist.
I`m a simple man I see a new Splatty`s video I upvote
why not XD
I always try to do that before the video even plays :D Splatty deserves it ♥
think all that like good indie games would

A game made from the idea that's the Waterworld movie, amazing. I'm in the boat take me for a ride ^^

Surprised no one made a Waterworld colony game sooner.
I love everything about this premise, how is this not been done more?
Saved by the bouyancy of citrus -Mitchel Hedberg
It looks like a watery Stronghold,
looks good!
The last time I saw this was by someone who just tried to torture the people.
Glad I can see how the game actually works now.
Thanks Splatt for doing the work so we don't have to.
Love the singing 😭😭😭 uprising!!! War!!!

i got this the other day and i freaking love it. 10/10
pretty cool game, hope devs will do regular updates, as if you get hold of it now it's pretty easy to survive
Fun game, would really like to see more.
Fire starter segments need to be separated with bridges from the rest of the complex
...Let's go save them. Oh fish!... Proceeds to fish instead of saving people :D Awesome episode man and the game looks great.
Right?
I love how ADD splat is in his games xD
I think WaterWorld is a deep cut in and of itself!
The random burst into les mis had me spitting my soda
Hey, splat, You didn't see it but the X on the movement map means where your townhall is going to go. So you have to plan around that when your resource gathering or else you could be wasting your time when you think your getting stuff
This game looks awesome
Plywood that isn't resin impregnated surviving any amount of time floating in an ocean amuses the hell out of me.
I got amused by a raft that moves and rotates without propulsion, and by a colony that grows without growing its genetic pool.
Interesting take on city builder genre
that looks pretty interesting actually

Sure, I’d like to see more splat
Omg the Les mis song! Yeesssss Splat!
I’m definitely interested
Water water everywhere and not a drop to drink!
Oh my God he actually use the tutorial? I thought no one did that anymore!
The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack...?
Glory...to your raft! Qapla'
This game would bore the crap out of me. But your video was so entertaining I watched the whole thing 😁
Neat looking game
your villagers take some time to run to the edge of the boat to paddle hence the delay
Wow it's like that anime Gargantia on the Verdurous Planet but less metal and Mecha and more wood instead.
Dude please make more episodes
Nice game
Hi Slpat, great game, thank you, have you look under technology to see if there is some kind of firehouse?
Saw this on the steam store my first thought was does splatter car have a video on this
lol i was gonna do a video on that game yesterday, you beat me to it :)
I like how I buy games a lot after watching youtube or twitch casters play them. But then I only play like an hour or two because its not as enjoyable as they made it seem like....... that and im lazy.
seriously there is a eat them option when you rescue survivors, cannibalism at its finest lol
Looks like meat is back on the menu boys!
Yeah bouyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy
I'm sorry, I'm so sorry. I just couldn't kelp myself.
there is books on how to learn conversational Klingon
I like yuor vidios
Comment 100 and requesting a part two please and thank you sir. I hit like and watched commercials without adblock. Just saying. ;)
I thought the idle villagers icon was a centaur...
Buy one Whale then sell it to them if it sells for more then you can make a profit
So its... RaftWorld
SimRaft city
Reminds me of Waterworld, and then he mentions it lmao
How would you compare this to Flotsam?
I prefer the charm and art style of Flotsam, this just seems like one of those games that saw an idea and wanted to churn it out faster so it was on the scene first. Lazy
the movie waterworld dirt as way more worth :P lol
ayooooo
You know what this games problem is ? I never remember how to spell buoyancy.
moar.

It is pronounced geoduck (ˈgü-ē-ˌdək) .

It's pronounced GOO-EE-duck not GEE-OH-duck.
Geoduck is pronounced Goo eee duck. It's a weird looking clam in the Pacific Northwest.
Too many buttons.

another copyed game, nice!!!
There are these things called ‘genres.’
@@MsCaptainChase No it definitely *is* a copy. Looks like the stole many of those buildings verbatim straight from waterworld
well was there another ocean floating city game I did not see before?
@@JS-wp4gs
Never knew there was a Waterworld game.
Finally a game i checked out before his video. 🤘😝🤘
More videos of this game. It's awesome!
