Men and women are made different. Their bodies and more importantly brains work differently. Both men and women should admire their similarities and respect the differences. I know that there is a lot of injustice against women and we men feel guilty because of it. That's why we are overcompensating with such dialogues. It is easier to appease than to treat someone as equal. If we really want to change we should stop this overcompensation and start treating them just like a normal human being. "Men and women are not equal. They are made different by God. Men are better at some things and women are better at some things. But both are humans and both should be treated equally."

Bollywood released 6 movies on threatres this year and gangubai and kashmir files hit hui hain which means 2 out of 6 movies are successful which is better hit ratio than south industries jahan pe is saal bas badi movies hi chali hain bhaiyaa.

This movie would have been actually useful 30-40 yrs back. This mindset is on a rampant decline and in almost 70% of the country it has become negligible. In the movie, at least the husband is supporting his wife's decision against the abortion. However, in reality there are countless cases where the husband works in full agreement with their parents' decision of abortion even if it means aborting 2-3, 4, 5..... or any no of times just to have a son. They don't care what will happen to the mother. Whether she will survive all that or not.
Do u know that in lots of cases even the wife agrees and gets the child aborted or if the family is really poor they will just have the baby & kill or dump it once it's born. India mein abortion bahoot common Hain ,har private hospital mein asani se kaam ho jata Hain no questions asked. One of the hospitals I know and work with it's the most common procedure performed and usually it's an extra marital pregnancy . MTP & Hysterectomy are the bread and butter of that hospital . Roz chalta Hain and the fetuses are secretly thrown in local river because if they're given as biomedical waste to municipality ( which is actually mandatary for all medical waste ) the authorities will immediately close the hospital. Duniya hi kuch aisa Hain.

Loved the movie overall i would recommend it to everyone not a useless movie it's about something which is still present in the country not just in india but in the world female foeticide is a really serious criminal offence still it's happening in the country the movie is based on that. Mostly men are against this movie cause it's represents the truth of the patriarchal society present in india largely. Even a girl child is considered bad cause they see it as a burden and it's something that really should change their mindset about. Domestic violence against women still happening and prenatal sex determination and then abortion of it happens very much and i know several people around who has done it still nobody takes action on it. I am glad that they made this movie instead of a useless movie with just song filled in the movie and no story but this one had great story hoping to see much more films in india like this one. I would say no one is going to regret seeing this film i hope more people support such great films like this one so they make more of such type .

They have shown the entire story in the trailer. What a smart move. Even a kid can guess what will be the climax. All the women in that village will support jayesh and they make his daughter as the sarpanch. She will change the rules in favour of girl child going forward.

Bollywood released 6 movies on threatres this year and gangubai and kashmir files hit hui hain which means 2 out of 6 movies are successful which is better hit ratio than south industries jahan pe is saal bas badi movies hi chali hain bhaiyaa.
as a gujarati, this seems so authentic and great! boman irani is parsi and therefore can speak gujarati well, the director is gujarati, and ranveer has done many gujarati influenced films- i am too excited

Loved the movie overall i would recommend it to everyone not a useless movie it's about something which is still present in the country not just in india but in the world female foeticide is a really serious criminal offence still it's happening in the country the movie is based on that. Mostly men are against this movie cause it's represents the truth of the patriarchal society present in india largely. Even a girl child is considered bad cause they see it as a burden and it's something that really should change their mindset about. Domestic violence against women still happening and prenatal sex determination and then abortion of it happens very much and i know several people around who has done it still nobody takes action on it. I am glad that they made this movie instead of a useless movie with just song filled in the movie and no story but this one had great story hoping to see much more films in india like this one. I would say no one is going to regret seeing this film i hope more people support such great films like this one so they make more of such type .
