As I have previously commented on another Mozart aria sung by the greatest soprano of all times, Mozart should be sung with fire and passion 🔥 not tiptoeing through the music like most "Mozart singers."do and here Maria gives a master class on how Mozart should be sung. Oh wow this is so beautiful. Brava Maria. Only the great Edda Moser could also sing Mozart with fire and passion.
Que bella voz tan dulce tan hermosa como si fuera los angeles del cielo los que cantan.cuanta hemocion brindo.esta soprano.uno nunca se cansa de escucharla. Cantar.maria callas..bellísima..aréa..de ópera..enrique martinez
Very moving rendition of this aria, Brava Maria ! A pity it is recorded a bit too close like all recordings she made with Glotz, and it comes late in her career, 5 years before it should have been even better. But the sadness of the countess is perfectly interpretatet like anything Callas does. Such a great artist !
From Rossini and Mozart to Wagner, Verdi and Cerubini, Maria Callas could sing everything. "She could sing everything written for the female voice", as Tullio Serafin had put it and "stamp it indelibly with her genius", add I. Thank you for the post.
@@luceafarul579 thank god she didn´t do it like all the others. she makes mozart sound realistic, not only a game with sounds. that hat always bored me :)
The greatest of them all; a queen of drama and a voice that could meet all demands of the grand opera whether it be Mozart or Bizet! And her "Medea" is the best of all!
She is one of the greatest post war singers, but she is too distinctive for Mozart. The emotion is in the music. Callas does not need to improve on it. She sounds as if the Count understandably got tired of her. There are also pitch problems.
well, singing everything plus others things apart, thats why she lost her voice too soon!!. am desagree with sopranos try to sings everything like gilda, violetta and leonora in trovatore!!.toscanini used to said that the same soprano could sing the 3 roles!!really?zinka milanov wisely desagree.gilda without the traditionals interpolations notes is more soprano leggero than the others two. her tessitura is.more higher than violeta and leonora combine.
inoubliable Maria Callas, à la voix si belle et si particulière. On ne se lasse pas de l'écouter encore aujourd'hui.
BELISSIMA E COM MUITO SENTIMENTO !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Callas gives a very heart-moving portrait of the countess in this aria.
One of her greatest recordings I have heard so far.
Cosa ci può essere di.piu bello di questa voce. Un sogno che continua per noi che amiamo l'opera? Starei ad ascoltarla per ore. Grazia stupenda MARIA!
M. Callas is the culmination of beauty in the human voice for me. Glorious...
This beautiful..Thank you
I' ve listened to so manyl countess, but this just melts my heart, the voice is so free, effortless, soulful....
Effortless??? Here? I respect callas art, but here her voice is stiff, forced and constricted, it's a pain to hear, must've been after her decline
Such a glorious melodic line

Muy grande Maria Callas, muy grande
Just to die for! Her tone is crystal pure and I get chills from the emotion in her voice, just love.
Esta voz eterniza el alma de Mozart.......

Thank you for the post.
I don't consider Callas can sing Mozart. I wouldn't consider this rendition a Mozartian rendition at all.
i agree
Die Callas hatte eine einmalige Stimme, aber nicht für Mozart, da klingen andere viel besser, wie Lisa della Casa oder Lotte Lehmann

@@jorghiemann7267 kommt drauf an, was man von mozart erwartet ;-)
Está me ajudando com ansiedade.
@OTAVI It's the countess's aria in the act II from "Le Nozze di Figaro" W.A Mozart, recorded on December 23rd, 1963 and January 8th, 1964 in Paris!
The greatest of them all; a queen of drama and a voice that could meet all demands of the grand opera whether it be Mozart or Bizet! And her "Medea" is the best of all!
Sadly this should have stayed hidden in the EMI vaults . Here voice here only a memory of what it once was .
Thanks again.
WOW!
thanks again

Unforgettable rendition!
Brava!
Não entendo, mas estou começando a gostar. Quem canta ?
Unica
No. This is just for Callas lovers, not for Mozart lovers.

When was this aria? And where? Thank you
mozart ressurected as a woman!!!
Is too similar to the bassoon concerto k 191 andante
