It was a really cool interview you really got to know how she views certain things in life. I kind of get the sense that she's not totally happy yet but she will get there. Never heard of him until this. He's very good at this. He's intimate and personal. I have to see more of his interviews...
I like that he respected her decision not to answer certain things but I feel like because of that she would indirectly answer it without really answering it if that makes sense. They both were helping each other. Like the way she acted when it was obvious that Pete was the one that had push back, she didn’t answer he started to move on then she said nice things about Big Sean and Ricky, but didn’t mention Pete.

That song is honestly so underrated and I listen to it every single day. The lyrics hit me like a truck everytime... Thank U, Next is one of the best albums I've heard.

I’m starting to realise the reason why Ariana sounds so different here and now. She’s clearly one of those people who picks up on other peoples accents. I do this too. The longer you spend around people you absorb their accents and initiations.

I do it too, like when I was growing up my best friend and I had identical accents, but then I moved and now I speak so differently to her, but exactly the same as my friends in my new town. It’s also only been like 3 years, so it’s no shock that in 5 years Ari’s voice changed (especially since she had vocal training for Galinda)

I only want Zach Sang to interview her for the rest of her life because his interviews with her are so authentic. He’s such a respectable young man and isn't pushy or goes overboard with questions like most interviewers do. It didn't even seem like an interview to me. It seemed like a group of friends (which they are) just having a normal conversation but on camera.

Let me say this. I didn't finish the interview yet, but what I can tell is that Zach has so much potentiel, he's one of the most understandable radio prodigy. Everytime Ariana felt a little uncomfortable or emotional, he knew how to change the subject by creating another one and that's really rare. The interview is so chill, no pressure about the answers, no weird noises, etc. It's really great to see this. Okay, if he could just laugh sometimes it would be great (joking pls dont beat me)

it’s because they’ve been friends for so many years they know eachother’s way of joking around and stuff. she goes off the rails during this interview (many factors: she’s with her friends and she had a lot of anxiety still from everything that happened and bc the album was close to coming out plus humor is her way to deflect and cope) and ofc zach has to reel her in bc he’s technically in his workplace lol but he knows her and when she says something and he doesn’t laugh it’s not bc he thinks it’s not funny it’s just how you act around your friends and he’s ofc interested in getting her to talk about the album

Came back to watch this incredible interview for the 3 year anniversary of the album.
Shout out to Zach, to this day, for being an incredible host and making it an enjoyable watch, with his questions and the way he keeps it all together. No one else could make an interview with Ariana feel this close and just like a conversation between friends. Well because that’s exactly what it was. And of course shoutout to Ari, for being the reason why I tuned into this. No matter what she thinks/thought of herself at the time, she still makes mine, and everyone’s day, by just being herself. And that’s what I love (and appreciate) about her. She’s come a long way since then and that’s nice to see, bless her.

22:43 gosh i feel so bad for her. Ghostin is beautiful but that song is obviously so hard for her to hear because of what it’s about. Its my personal favorite ballad she’s ever done. And my fav on the album. I’m so sad she’s not gonna be singing it live but i totally understand and respect her decision. I hope life keeps getting better for this beautiful soul

You have to listen to the lyrics like, “I know that it breaks your heart, when i cry again, over him”, She’s referring to when she was missing Mac and would cry about him to pete. and she also says “though i wish he were here instead”. There is no way that’s about pete cause why would she be crying over pete when she was with Mac?
after going through the most traumatic experiences of my life today and not being able to fall asleep tonight : ari's voice and thoughts (everything about this interview actually) are the only thing that can make me feel comforted. she will always be my solace and i'm so grateful for her. ♡ thank u for this amazing itw, the only thing keeping me going rn. makes me want to heal.

I wish I could be friend with Victoria. She just seems so supportive and sweet. She's that friend who watch you make a mistake she warned you not to do and yet help you heal when you're bruised from it and who won't judge you because she knows sometimes you have to make bad decisions in order to be a better person

@Jonathon Banasiak I absolutely love this! I'm always waiting to be proven wrong about such powerful and talented people, women especially. It's easy to get caught up in the lies of the media, but Ariana's friends speak so highly of her and I cant pretend like that's not the truth. I can see it in their faces and eyes and hear it in their voices. They love her, and I'm so so happy that she has a solid support system around her finally. She's been through too much to have fake friends. 💕 Definitely gonna check that interview out. Thank you for such a kind reply.

It's so sad to think that he has died to think that the love of his life was going to get married to another man, it's so sad that he's gone and he couldn't feel happy. He was so heart broken and it's so sad. Can you imagine how it could be if he didn't passed away? I kind of atill can't believe he is gone

Ghostin is hard for me to listen. It feels like I’m staring at a mirror at myself but the reflection is a period of time where things were so so painful and I’m not really ready to see that part of myself just yet. I listened to 30 seconds and I then I was like nope! I felt it in my heart that what she went through is what I and so many people go through! It’s such a powerful song that connects so many people.
BrandxDraws cried way too much the first time i heard it... that song is so damn special and is definitely one of her best songs ever
i listened to this while cleaning my room and it makes it so enjoyable to hear some of my favorite people talk amongst themselves
she's been through so much, the fact she didn't win a grammy for this fabulous album
