Ah man, that’s cool to hear. The eagle hawk pen is under the drawing set of brushes, it comes as standard with procreate. I haven’t used anything that isn’t installed with procreate in the video 👌
Can I ask how you get your peppermint so dark and bold? Mine looks like soft graphite, it's quite grainy and I have to reline the same line about 5 times to have it look even close to a solid black.
Absolutely beautiful candle drawing! Watched this first thing in the morning and got inspired to start some new sketches and tattoo designs this AM ^_^
oh-and about what you say in this video-about nowhere in the world feeling 'far enough', I've had conversations about that with a lot of people in the last year or two to hear if anyone else is feeling the same way and again and again I hear it from those over the age of 30, a similar feeling of 'been there done that.'
I think it has to do with aging and growing older. Being less 'wowed' and impressed by new things in the world and simply getting a bit jaded and less excited about things... Still want to travel and explore and see things, but the burning desire and passion is just... calmed down from what it was when I was in my 20's.

Hi! Sorry for the late reply, im not sure why you might not be getting the peppermint brush as dark as you’d like. Have you checked the dpi of the canvas? I have mine set to 350, it makes the brush more condensed, which in turn makes it look darker.
As for the travel thing, it’s a weird one, i still have that desire to explore but i think as ive got older its just a desire to explore where people might not have been or have rarely been, and when you look at the bigger picture i.e google earth, it just looks like everything’s been explored already. Some nights i find myself down rabbit holes of finding nameless and strange islands on google earth, then trying to find any reference to there history. Check out ‘ inaccessible island’ (thats its actual name) on google earth😳
@@jasonjamessmithart thank you for the advice! I just switched it to 350dpi, I was operating at 150dpi before, ugh what am I even doing with my life? Also, my brush presets had the maximum opacity of peppermint set to about 75%, so after I increased it to 100% it looks like your does now. Peppermint and Eagelhawk have changed everything for me, huge thanks!

The old explorer in me agrees, it seems the entire planet has already not only been discovered but also inhabited and transformed to better suit humans, very sad to see. Wonder what the next step for mankind will be?
