Creo que es preferible ver a un turista siendo honesto y diciendo la verdad de lo que piensa del país, que verlo hablando falsamente "maravillas"

There are much better parts of town that you could have explored, like Zona 4, Zona 10, Zona 14, or Zone 16. Next time, try to visit 4Grados Norte in Zone 4. Or go to Cayalá in Zone 16. In Guatemala City there is so much more than just the old district in Zona 1, which has become run down, and is no longer what it used to be.

Six Ave dating back to 1776, when the city was transfer from Antigua Guatemala, main central park, one side palace, and cultural Museum green color, at the other side cathedral, portales, walking towards the hill "Cerrito del carmen" to the locals is known as the historic center, where the city was established, those churches that you saw date back to late 1700, early 1800, except the hill which was build around mid 1600s, in that hill you can see zone 1, zone 2, zone 6, sadly INGUAT has done little to highlight the historical importance of the historic center or the place where the city begun, from that hill the plain you saw back in the mid 1500 come to be know as the Cow Valley, the cows were introduced in 1542, sadly those house are old in barrio moderno dating back to 1900 later reinforce or rebuild due to earthquakes, please don't be so critical of our historic center, thank you for walking in our historic center, INGUAT should do better to promote our historical center, plus you miss Central market which was move where the 1st cementary was located, even as today there are still bodies buried in there, the cementary was move twice, the name General Cementary of Guatemala located in Z 3, the place where you walk dates back to 1776, as a city, as farmland in mid 1500, indeed is historical, wars, coups, slavering of natives took place where you walk
