#Sai Baba had made three of his paintings in his life, all of which were made by Shri Shamrao Jayakar ji. Two of these three paintings are today at the house of Shri #Kakasaheb Dixit ji in Vile Parle, #Mumbai. You would know that Kakasaheb Dixit was a #solicitor, #MLC. He was a #corporator in the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation or #BMC and was also a member of the Senate of Mumbai #University. But apart from all this he was recognized as a great Sai #devotee. #MoreshwarPradhan ji had this idea that Baba's painting should be made and for this he prayed to Shyam Rao Jaykar ji, the famous #painter of that time.
After the painting was made, Baba said that one #painting should be sent to Dixit ji's house and the remaining 2 paintings were then #bought by Moreshwar Pradhan ji. After the death of Moreshwar ji, his family did not pay any attention to these two paintings. Till the year 1970, these two paintings were lying in a dilapidated condition in his house. One night, Baba came in the dream of his son and grandson and said that you have kept me neglected for so many years. Aren't you ashamed? take me to dixit's house. After that Moreshwar ji's son and grandson had delivered a painting of Baba to Dixit ji's house. Since then, till today both these #paintings have been consecrated in the temple of Baba built by Dixit ji in #Vile Parle, Mumbai. These priceless paintings of Baba cannot be #valued in money. Dixit ji's decedents got ten #thousand #rupees by #selling the #property which their son and grandson inherited from Kakasaheb Dixit. By #spending that #money, they have built a beautiful temple of Baba in Vile Parle. You can see these beautiful pictures of Baba at the #financial capital of the country which controls most of the #economic #transactions or #dealings of the country. Seeing the calm and beautiful face of Baba in these pictures makes you #assured about your future. #Dixit ji's grandson Shri Anil Kumar ji used to get very emotional while talking about these special and #valuable paintings of Baba. The paintings which are in Shirdi were also made by jaykar ji himself, but he made these paintings in his #studio with his imagination, not by making Baba sit in front.
