Improgressing very slowly through the battlepass and i play for over an hour.

To be fair he did make some good takes and some of them were bad but overall the game in its current state isn’t good. Back in the open beta wasn’t really hard to unlock characters because majority of the time u would earn gold by just playing matches but now they’ve increased the price and u have to grind for them and it got to a point where the grind got annoying ngl. I do hope a lot of the issues do get fixed but for rn I just don’t like the state the game is in.

I play the game every day for hours and I have only unlocked one character and have barely finished one page in the battle pass the grind is way too long and I do love this game but it will die if PFG doesn’t make some changes

Your only limited to buying a couple characters a season. You dont earn ANY fighter currency for finishing matches
If you do EVERY event in the game atm AND the ENTIRE battlepass you can earn a whopping 8500 fighter currency

When you can only earn 8500 fighter currency a season and one character can cost up to 6000 fighter currency theres a problem. You cant even test out characters anymore

I do think people shouldn't be defending this game religiously as well, it obviously has huge problems, Xbox is unplayable they had to remove iron giant to patch him and such, then the microtransactions are horrible, much worse than they where in the beta...

Still its alot worse then beta, this feels more like a beta then the actual beta to be honest. They didnt have to upgrade the engine in the first place, if the game is incomplete and a mess than i dont think enchance graphics matter.

I had a bug in game playing rift where i used rick and fought stripe , i used a portal and for some reason stripe dissappeared and i couldn't leave the game so had to wait.

I'm with you on this Shader. Played the game a lot this week and I'm having a blast. Sure, it has some problems that need to be fix ASAP but I don't get all of these nonsensical hate. I bet many of these haters didnt even touched the game fr
I guess "the hate" comes from thin air? They sold microtransactions in a beta, to only strip that and the entirety of the game away for a year and a half player tension/expectations are already high to begin with. rerelease the game adding features no one asked for and removing basic features no one asked to be removed to begin with. The game runs equally bad or worse than the beta for some players consistently. Add pay2win elements in their game, exceedingly long grinds, a bunch of currencies that no one cares about, and predatory incentives to buy the premium currency like having a character you probably have no investment in to play just to complete challenges to progress within the game in various avenues. I understand ya'll like Multiverses, but to pretend like people are unreasonably hating on the game, just to hop on a hate train is absurd which even if they are multiverses made it extremely easy to do.

1. "Removing features no One asked" Buddy they already said they're going to implement every Old feature Next update. Just have some patience
2. "Game runs as bad as before" Not a chance, Game was literally unplayable at the end of the open beta with the infinite dodge meter, the lag/bad connection system, and the ridiculous speed that made everything more spammy and Boring. Now we have neutral play and you actually need to think this time how to handle your opponent, as EVERY other fighting Game is. (Smash Bros Melee is Broken btw)
3. "Blah blah they sold microtransactions" you would have a point if they didnt actually redeem themselves by giving free Battle pass, gleamium, coins and a lot of more things. It's his first Game ffs, they're trying really hard to please all their audience
4. "PaY tO WiN" Lmao are u serious at this point? That's a feature only on rift Mode and I have completed all the rifts without spending a single dollar, even without using gems, really. Sounds like a skill issue to me.
I'm not saying Multiversus has problems but it's a fact PFG it's working really hard to solve them and all I'm seeing recently is entitled gamers trashtalking about problems that are confirmed they're being fixed, or literally lying to make this game fail. I Hope you're all this "Critical" about other franchises like Pokémon, CoD or FIFA but I don't see almost anyone complaining.

1. Would it have mattered if everyone (or a large majority) had left as a result? First impressions are important, especially in a free-to-play game. Especially to those who have experience already through the beta giving this game (which many games don't) another shot. This game doesn't exsude player confidence in several avenues which could drive old beta players away and newcomers from even investing time and money into the product which is why PFG is trying to get that back with the next update as fast as possible.
2. I guess the numerous amounts of complaints across various platforms about the desync and server stablity issues are coming from thin air? The studio had already fully stopped supporting the game by time the end of the beta, nothing significant to talk about there. There was never "infinite" dodge meter in the beta it only seemed that way because the amount and how it rejuvenated faster than you could burn it. How was the game more "spammy" if the beta had a mechanic that literally prevented you from spamming? Wtf are you even talking about in that aspect? The current game doesn't have that mechanic and you can literally spam the same move without penalty.... explain?! The speed is literally *the one* aspect that people have praised consistently in the beta so much so that people are overwhelmingly complaining about the absence of it in the official launch and PFG themselves acknowledging as one of their "top priorities".
3. That is a expectation, I'm not going to praise PFG for doing something they should already do especially with how much I and many others invested in the beta. Good on them for doing it, I'm not praising WB and PFG for doing something expected of them and if they didn't people would most likely have complained about that too.
4. That is not a feature exclusive to Rift Modes to do certain daily challenges and certain other challenges which progresses your battle pass and the *ONLY* way to progress the battle pass *currently* you need certain *specific* characters to do them which would incentivize you to get those characters I have 20+ hours in Multiverses currently excluding the time played in the beta I have a sum total of 8.35k fighter currency (have not spend any of it since launch) this is me exclusively playing 1v1's *NOT* caring about doing challenges, that somehow get done involuntary. Had I not played the beta and had unlocked all the characters I wanted before they shut down and get a free battle pass I would have to spend 20+ hours (maybe a little less if care about challenges) to get 2 characters or 1 character be serious with yourself here.
Again I don't understand why the core community of this game tries so hard to minimalize, divert, and outright ignore the issues presented in the game currently and will get mad and attempt to devalue the criticism pointed at the game at the people pointing out the issues that'll help the game, because it hurts their ego surrounding their game which is why the game flopped to begin with and these same people will be sad when they're playing a dead game by themselves....AGAIN! I never took that guy seriously tbh and that’s mostly cuz he’s like DreamcastGuy n ReviewTech to me. Both are only after what appeals to the hate crowd and will rush/screw bit of news just to get more views. They’re basically the unofficial IGN channels for TH-cam. Unreliable n untrustworthy
Imagine comparing Multiversus to Star Wars Battlefront 2 they simply aren’t even close
Yeah, MultiVersus is more like a gacha game. It has the same predatory practices and gameplay loop with missions and events. There's even gambling with the gems but they don't compensate players with anything when they make mistakes that cause them to do things like disabling Iron Giant (gacha games compensate players with gems).
It's not PFGs fault, more-so WB's fault. Mortal Kombat has many of the same issues.

@@TheGodlyGamerMugen The beta was exactly the same, even more generous in-fact and it flopped back then (mostly due to radio silence and content no longer releasing, it would've otherwise succeeded). In this case, it'll flop due to players being burnt out.
The comparison you made to Rocket League and Call of Duty aren't valid because the microtransactions in those games are for cosmetics. These are not extras, these are vitals aspects of the game.

There are the most issues on Xbox but only for a handful of people it’s under 1k but they have spoken on fixing that issue very soon which is good, I’ve had issues here and there on ps5 and pc

@TheShaderGamer Multiversus is definitely not on the same level as BF2 on its microtransactions, but its PVE mode is still pay to win, the most recent rift chapter they did made it so that if you don't have the battle pass (Jason), you won't be able to play a good half of the nodes in that rift, you either have to go through an extremely tedious grind to 100% each difficulty just for the chance to get into the unfairer harder difficulties, or just pay for the XP
5:21 the fact that these features weren't here on LAUNCH is still embarrassing since they were there in beta nearly 2 years ago now, it's irrelevant that they put it in a new engine so we could have a slightly better graphical experience (with worse servers mind you) whilst losing a ton of features, substance over style, it doesn't matter if they weren't given enough time, it is a valid criticism through and through

Most of what he said is right though. Characters are very difficult to obtain now by just playing. There are so many characters and will be many more. This game Will be insanely expensive for new comers that want to lock down a roster. There’s no ranked, no leader board, no character testing in lab, no more xp from just playing…. There are a lot of step backs from the beta honestly.
I was rank 125 with Rick in beta so yeah, I’ve played a lot. I do still love the gameplay but I am very discouraged with a lot of aspects. Idk man.

MVS. Free battle pass for every open beta players. The Battle Pass has enough glemium to get the next pass for free. You can unlock every character for free by playing the game (Except for Jason so far, but he will be unlockable with figther currency when the pass is over), and remember the game is free. They need some type of Monetisation, and this is the least aggressive monetisation I've seen in even games that cost to play...
I have trust in Player First Games.
