Vango AirBeam Capri 800XL Tent Review and Timelapse

Short review of the tent following a brief timelapse showing it being set up for the first time. I'm also using a 'Footprint' and 'SkyShield' with the tent. Overall it seems pretty good, though I don't think I'd try and sleep more than 6 in it, rather than the 8 suggested - but that's normal for most tents. The bedrooms aren't particularly dark and only have a single zip on each door, but the ventilation is good and I'm very impressed with the AirBeam system for inflating the tent. They only supply you with the exact number of pegs you need - a couple of spares would have been nice...

looking at one of these for the summer as you can pick them for £499 at the moment. Do you think it's worth it for that price?

Sounds like a bargain to me! I've only used it a couple of times so far, as I bought it quite late in the camping season last year, but it's been good.

How long did it take?

About 40 minutes on the first go, including unpacking and figuring it out. 30 minutes on second go. Could probably do it quicker if I rushed. That's on my own, with two people it would be quicker.

Same shop I got the tent from, I got tent, sky shield and groundsheet at once. I forgot the name of the shop though...

Best to look it up online, it was about £600 for the basic tent when I got it I think.
