Arrived back home and decided to split the load of Pine I had taken home with me. Just take it from the back of the truck bed to the splitter and right into the racks.
New viewer here, I find your channel after watching yesterday's Chris video from "In The Woodyard". I think he knows we like the sound of the wood splitting and you are producing the same sounds! Well done!
I've enjoyed watching when you're "in the woodyard" helping Chris. I've been wondering if you would get something going on here. The shoutout from chris certainty wont hurt!
Definitely was white pine and red cedar, which is also called aromatic cedar. I split all my cedar for bundles and kindling size so i can sell it at my firewood stands and give kindling to new customers and campers who buy from me. I normally sell 10 full cords of cedar bundles alone in a year
Yup white pine and Red Cedar. I only found those couple pieces and I don't remember where I got them. That is a lot of cedar bundles! Must have a lot of Cedar by you then.
@@FirewoodFella no cedar by us really. My brother buys 5 semi loads of cedar logs a yr to make lumber. Comes from 1hr north of us. We kiln dry it and sell it and make tongue and groove paneling also with his 4 sided molder. I cut up the slabwood for campfirewood, junk crooked logs Or split around the rot logs for the good wood. I bundle the edger trimmings for kindling. Also deliver about 100 cords of slabwood every year for boilerwood. We sawmill alot of lumber every year. I Think we cut around 120k BF a year from Our logs we buy and customers logs they drop off
nice to watch you and ? the equipment used today is something. when i was a boy, it was a crosscut saw, a taped up sledge and 2 wedges plus a warped handle 2 bit ax
Good no nonsense straight to the point cutting and splitting..... minimal yakking... THIS is an entertaining channel.
Thanks for the compliment.
